    Default A Perfect Smile

Us brits are known worldwide for bad teeth, and although mine haven't been the worst, I've not felt comfortable smiling with my teeth for a good 6 years.
This year my boss made me an appointment with a cosmetic dentist in town, and as a birthday present to myself I bought myself a new smile (One new crown at the front and some minor chiselling of other teeth).
I've had the temporary crown fitted today and despite the pain from the anaesthetic injections I can't think of any better way to spend my hard earned money. I'm grinning from ear to ear (and it feels so unnatural!!) but I no longer feel goofy or shy.
I'm having the permanent crown put on next Monday, but I thought I'd let you all know how much my new smile has done for my confidence already - and I haven't even been into work yet!!

Congrats on the new smile! I got 4 crowns on the front back almost ten years ago to fix my short teeth (I was a grinder as a teenager) so I know how good it feels to finally have that perfect smile.

    Congratulations!

I had perfect teeth, was so in love with them, as I wore braces for years growing up. Then I lost my retainer and have spend months obsessing about a tooth or two shifting on the bottom. Luckily I just made an appointment for a new retainer fitting. Yay!

Yea! I'm so happy for you! I'm a dental hygienist (now) and I know this can make a world of difference for someone! Keep smiling and just remember to floss daily
