Catgirl, take the mortgage scam in the U.S. into consideration... Big banks made people sign long contracts they didn't understand, knowing that they wouldn't understand them. A lot of the contracts had terms within them that were not legal even if you agreed to them, which puts fault on the bank because they made you sign an agreement that is not legally valid. Just because you sign it, doesn't make it true - only if all of the terms within it are legal where you live. That's where litigation comes in.
But seeing where Streamate's legal holes are can't be done until they're taken to court.
Am I the only one wondering what PornLaw has to say about Streamate's contract? As a lawyer, I'm sure he can see the legal loopholes...for CA, at least.
