Default Waitresses help get you a dancer

Sometimes the stripper I want is busy chatting to another customer.
I usually just wait until they're finished before I ask her for a dance, but sometimes I lose interest (because another dancer I like approaches me)

Next time I want a waitress to let the stripper know that I want a dance. How much should I tip the waitress for helping me out?

There is no set price per se...

I actually have certain waitresses that I am friendly with, and they will suggest me to patrons in many cases... we have our own arrangements so-to-speak.

But I can say that the general rule at any club is pretty simple. The more money and people you tip, the more you attention you are going to get all around. It's pretty much like any other service industry.

To give you an idea with something you are probably more familiar with... restaurants:

    In a restaurant....

    * If you tip your waiter/waitress less than 15%, you are going to be very unpopular with them if they see you come back in, and they will tell the others that you are a cheap ass.

    * If you tip your server 15%, they will appreciate that you remembered to adequately tip them, but probably will not get special attention because that is how much you are supposed to tip anyway.

    * 20%-25% will make very popular when you return, and your drinks will stay filled, and they will go out of their way to make you dining experience a happy one.

    * more than 25%.... or the REALLY big tips, you are a rock star when you walk in the door... every food server wants you seated at their table; your wish is their command.

In the strip club, it's pretty much the same thing. If you tip the server $1 per drink, they will appreciate that you are not a cheapskate, and they will definitely be happy to get you more drinks.

If you are tipping really well to either the dancer and/or the waitress, for example $5.00 drink tips or more, and you are adding 50% or more to the dancers' fees for whatever service they provide, they will aim to please and they will seek YOU out.

Of course, this is all hypothetical, because it depends on the locality, club, and number of clients in the crowd on any given day or night.

If it is a "dive" with a blue-collar crowd, the expectations will probably be different than if you go into a high-end club with a white-collar crowd. Busy nights mean you gotta throw more money around to get their attention, and slow nights may take less because they are itching to make your dollars.

The quickest way to get attention is to become a regular, and not just tip, but tip well. If you tip your waitress a buck, and she doesn't pay as much attention, then you can up it until she's hovering over your every need. Generally, in my experience, once you do that, they will start inquiring about you and what you are looking for... i.e., just drinking & observing, wanting a dance, VIP/Champagne ambitions, etc.

Especially as a woman, you are going to have to possibly work a little harder to grab their attention, because experience shows that women are not always the most lucrative/easy customers (of course, their are exceptions to any rule mind you).

The easiest way, is just tell your waitress that you want a dance from the stripper of your choosing, and assuming they don't have a piss poor relationship, she'll probably let her know...

or the best way, just smile at her and wave her your way. If you are being shy with them, they will probably avoid you anyway. Female patrons in strip clubs are an interesting breed, because you never know what you are going to get... a girl trying to look cool for friends, a truly curious girl, a girl who is openly attracted to other women, bi-sexual ones, lesbians... or the women who think that because they are women as well, they can touch you/do things that male patrons cannot.

At worst, you try to get her attention and she is not interested in dancing for you--if that's the case, you don't want her dancing for you anyway. The worst thing is to get a dancer who has no interest in women, or at least the ability to pretend that she does long enough to do a 3 to 4 minute dance for you.

That was a really long winded answer (and I think this question is in the wrong section anyway) but the moral of the story is, every club and dancer is different, and often from one night to the next. Just find a spot you enjoy yourself, become a regular, tip well, and the female-friendly dancers will seek you out. We're all there to make money, and for the most part, we are going to seek out the patrons who are gonna give us the money with the least amount of effort.... LOL
