Default Lower tummy success--and unintended consequences

So I have a 3-point strategy going with the lower belly issue. I have accepted (for now) that this is probably genetic, and so will never completely go away with out surgery. However, in the meantime I want to make the most (or least) of my figure. I am on a healthy 1400 calorie diet and doing more aerobic exercise to reduce the amount of fat in the culprit fat cells. I am also doing lots of abs exercises to tighten up the underlying muscle. And drinking ginger tea is definitely helping reduce the general bloating in the area. I have a couple mugs full a day.

Now I have a new problem. The excess skin from my heavier days is NOT tightening up fast enough. This is an ongoing issue that has plagued me ever since I got to within about 10 pounds of my goal weight. I notice it more since I have had some success with the lower-belly issue.

So if anybody has any suggestions to tighten up this skin, even temporarily, or to further reduce bloating in the lower abdomen, please tel me!

    Thanks!

Something that works for me for lower belly issues is exercise that targets the lower abs. I usually do crunches daily, but instead of just lifting my shoulders, I lift my hips as well so that my tailbone comes off the floor. I do a few sets of those, then hold that position, then switch to lower leg lifts. Pilates is also good for the lower abs.

For tightening skin beyond exercise (and exercise only goes so far), I've heard that there are a few laser treatments that help, though they're costly. Seems to work great for some, not so great for others.

Yeah, that whole cost issue is my problem. If I had unlimited funds, I would have just gone and had lipo years ago. That is why I am trying to find non-surgical ways to improve myself.

lipo won't tighten skin, just remove fat. Unfortunately I don't know if anything that can tighten skin that works. I wish though. I'd use it on my ass.

Olive oil and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice mixed, spread on skin, wrap with saran wrap, wait twenty, shower as normal...oooh and aaaah in the mirror because yes, it does work...

there are a few over the counter lotions you can find at walmart that claim to be skin firming or tightening but theyre not guarenteed. Youd have to use them at least twice a day for a month or two to see any kind of result and even then you might not see any. Skin is naturally elastic so the best thing to do is keep it moisturized.

Also hemorrhoid cream will instantly tighten saggy skin if you feel you need a quick but temporary fix to get you through a day (or night)
