CLA - the supplement I think. One of the brand names is Tonalin ~ do a board search for that name and I know a few good threads will come up.
I agree about the detox - I just did a 7 day and loved the results. You can buy packaged body detoxes or cleanses at any store really, along with health food stores. All the holiday stress and bad habits made my tummy a bit poochy and this got rid of it.
Also up your cardio and do more squats.


^^ thanks. Cla should help curb belly fat and get rid of it while you work out. Detox helps get rid of bloated stomach and baggage. The squats and donkey kicks (butt workout) will help keep your butt, lift and make it firm while you do cardio.





Detoxes (and specifically cutting out wheat, dairy, sugar and caffeine) should really help take down any excess bloating or water weight.
Other than that, you can't spot target an area for fat loss, but what you can do is cardio to trim fat all over, and crunches to tone your stomach. Building muscle on your ass will keep the booty at the same time.

Yoga. Yoga will tone you all over.
Anything that builds up your abdominals will temporarily make your stomach a bit bigger, because the muscles swell after they've been worked. It's a little alarming initially, but it does make a noticeable difference after about a week. And abs are one of the few muscles that you can actually work out daily. Do you have a gym membership? If not, and you don't want to get one, but do want to quickly shape up, I recommend Gold's Gym. They have a free one-week trial membership you can get on their website without having to commit, and you can use it and go in and use their machines. They've got some seriously good equipment that will make a huge difference.





Cut out anything that makes you 'bloat' - that'll take your tummy down quick. So salt, caffeine and sugary juices/drinks. Drink a LOT of water. Kick up your cardio and do LOTS of lunges to keep your booty.
Sounds easier than it really is....if it was that simple I'd be taking my own advice. Heh....

You cannot 'spot remove' fat without lipo. You will have to do cardio and resistance training to take care of the body fat, and do some heavy glute training to build and keep the booty.



thanks for all the info girls! I am too am in the same position - loose the belly and keep the booty. I am so over the thick middle section and the stretch marks. They're so embarrassing!! so Cla and a detox? Is the detox in the form of pills or a tea? Is it an upper like a diet pill? I can't take diet pills because of my Epilepsy...*sad face*

Do you suggest any specific detox?
Im going to have to get some due to water weight.
I had a liquid drink kind (bought at walmart)
and it make me kinda sick , and tired.

I've been doing Jillian Michaels "Ripped in 30" for a week now and my stomach already looks way better... It's a really good workout DVD and its only like 25 mins a day- and it comes with a diet plan...
I was watching Oprah the other day & her whole staff went on a one week vegan diet & one of them lost 11lbs, and many others lost about 5lbs.
I'm not saying just because it was on Oprah its gold but I actually believe it because a month ago my mom went to a nutritionist and he put her on a ten day detox diet (it is considered detoxing) & she lost about 10 or 11 lbs. the diet consisted of mostly steamed vegetables & foods that looked really gross to me lol. He did give her a supplement (in the form of a powder to mix into a shake) to take but she stopped taking it after 3 days bcuz it tasted like ass (i agree)
Anyway it did allow my mom to lose 10 lbs in 10 days, no exercise. So try looking up a good detox diet that is low in meat content. I'm not a gym expert or anything though so I am not sure if you need foods like meat to maximize your workout or whatever.
^^ if you are trying to tone certain areas though then of course you gotta exercise
I have gotten some very good results with P90X. There is a lot of glute/leg training, on top of the core training which P90X stresses beyond anything else.


Not so much for the booty but a great ab workout. I sent the link for the 1st section but the entire video is among the suggested videos. I refuse to do crunches because they make my muscles too thick. I replace the crunches at the end with dead lifts.
