Default $20 DRINKS are killing my MONEY!

    Hey ladies,

I work in a small club in order for the ladies to sit for with a guy longer than 1 or 2 songs, he is pretty much required to buy a drink, which cost 20$ , and we keep 9$ and 1$ goes to the bar. I'm not really having to much of an issue with guys buying me drinks, but what I have noticed is that after about 2 drinks , most average guys (non whales) only bring about 100-200 dollars to spend to the strip club. Some guys like to shop around and talk to a couple girls before buying dances. So usually when they were ready to buy dances they usually only have like 80-100 bucks left to spend. So i can initially get a few dances , but its hard to get more cause they've run out of money they budgeted for the club.

Last night I met a guy who spent about 80 bucks on 2 rounds of drinks for me and him, after drinking he wanted to do a couple dances and told me he only had 60 bucks left. I kept thinking i could have gotten more money out of him if he didn't buy those expensive ass drinks. Problem is he wanted to sit and chat, and since i do get a small commission of drinks, I obliged.

Any advice to get around this? help me keep more money in my pocket!

The reason why I stay here is because is right across from the convention center and the hotels, so we get a lot of tourist and business men.

This is just like the clubs in Guam, $20 drinks we get half and a couple of the clubs do the thing where you have to pay an extra dollar to the bar, like really you already get $10 and I gotta pay another $1 to the bar :/ I also get a lot of those guys come in with sets amounts of money but thats what credit cards are for, next time a guy tells you that he probably does have money tell him where the closest atm is, it works especially if they are already buzzing

My club its €25 a drink, and we only get €5. I usually find if a guy is willing to pay that much for a drink for me, he can afford to whip out his credit card to pay for dances, but when I'm aware a guy has limited funds I usually tell him I'm not a big drinker and I'd rather dance for him.

they did this at one place i worked for a short time, an 18+ non alcoholic club. $20 for a bottle of water or a redbull if a girl was drinking it, $5 for the guys. i thought it was crazy, sometimes the security/waitress/housemom type person would come up and interrupt me & a guy and ask him if he wanted to buy me a "ladies drink" and i'd always be like [email protected]$&# go away!!!! it was a tiny club with a different kind of hustle. the ladies drink thing cut into my hustle bad. i had a standard get familiar rapport since i was new, trying to get them to know me and want to tip me on stage, maybe buy dances too. first of all i wouldn't even WANT anything to drink, and then i had a bottle of water or a redbull i didn't want, but i don't want to waste it... then after a guy has spent 20 bucks AND tipped the aggressive waitress who doesn't even try to make it sexy or fun, AND the bartender/manager girl because they like her....there's 30 bucks suddenly that he's spent and NONE OF IT GOES IN MY POCKET. aggravating! then the guy gets a mental block, sometimes he feels like he can get away without tipping at all, because he bought you something that didn't need to cost so much. keep in mind this is a tiny no-alcohol club where the money and alcohol aren't flowing so much so totally different approach is required...it seems like there is a heightened sense of the money being exchanged rather than this carefree, hennessy-in-one-hand, makin-it-rain-from-the-other vibe.

i much prefer to work in a bar with booze. peoples guards are down, and the booze is pretty reasonably priced and so are the dances, so they balance out and you can get more of both (drinks and dances) out of the guys. i haven't worked in any other 18+ clubs, i think a juice bar type strip club would be more palatable to me if it was an actual juice bar, if they had anything besides WATER AND RED BULL (i hate red bull so much)...like if they made espresso and yummy smoothies, i'd be hitting guys up for $20 smoothies all night long!

Its annoying when after a dance I ask for a tip, and the guy offers me a drink instead. I'd rather he give me a tenner, than spend €25 on a drink I'm only gonna get paid €5 for. Especially since I usually get the bar staff to make mine non alcoholic.

^ I usually get around the whole "can I buy you a drink instead?" question by telling them that I JUST had a shot not five/ten minutes ago and I'm trying to pace myself. But then I act all giggly/purr-y and hold out my thong strap and tell them they can stick some "love" in there.

Hmmm..this is a toughy! Does the customer have to buy you a drink for a specific amount of time? For example - is it one drink per 15 minutes, or is it just that he has to buy you "a" drink? If it is just a drink, then drink slower! Lol...if you are constantly sipping the drink, he won't get through two rounds or more with you...

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure that he is paying for drinks on his credit card so that any cash he has brought in goes to you only...
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.
