    Hi can anyone recommend a workout the isolates this muscle?

    I got this video called Brazil Butt Lift (workout video, not the surgery) to tighten up and the first thing I noticed was how firm and tight my outer thighs became. So I'd recommend it. There's cardio, etc., but I just focus on the sculpting routines. It seriously works.

    ^thats great thanks! i have to check it out

    as far as weight lifting, its recommended to do things like squats lunges and dead lifts. the only thing is that i don't want bigger quads or inner thigh.

    For the medialis I would go with leg extensions. The lateralis is more the outer sweep of the leg & squats would be the best exercise for that. To focus on the sweep of the leg with squats, keep your legs close together. Think of leverage, when something has a smaller base the leverage goes to the outside. Power lifters use a very wide stance when squatting for more leverage from the middle of their base.

    As far as building too big of legs...Food is number 1... then cardio!
