I dance here in vegas.. You should mention here on SW the club where the dancer ripped you off so other clients and dancers, like myself who don't want to work alongside con artists, wont go.

Maybe it was 200 bucks per half hour...........................per person?
And she conveniently forgot to tell you or mumbled that it was per person?

Ehh, lots of girls in vegas are desperate and resort to ripoff tactics to make money off drunk tourists. With way too many girls, high house fees and expected tipouts, that is what happens.
Hands all over the dancers in a vegas vip is standard. Lots of girls think you're weird if you DON'T try to touch them.
But unless things have changed drastically recently, there are NO nude dances at Sapphire because it is a TOPLESS club. Only the nude clubs which don't serve alcohol can offer nude dances anywhere in the building. Unless of course the girl is a dirty dancer, in which case, expect her to try to pull other dirty moves on you, like fuck your wallet.

Thirty minutes do not equate to two songs. Time flies by fast when you're having fun. That's why you should start by the hour, instead of half.
To me it sounds like the girl didn't mention that there is a room fee. That's the host's job anyway.
I don't see this as the girl ripping anyone off. I hate it when ppl think that strip clubs are a rip off when you didn't do anything wrong. Stay home then. You're there to have fun, & forget about your problems.

IDK if I believe the girls EXPECT to be mauled in the VIP especially since Vegas has been ticketing and convicting girls heavily over the last two years or so. $200 for a half hour for two people in Vegas sounds really low to be honest. Also this makes me doubt you OP.On our first proper night out we had an amazing meal, visited some amazing bars and got disgustingly drunk.it seems I had my hands all over her lol!All in all your perception of things seem off. You sound like you were out of control and cheap to boot. A full on grope session with a drunk chick and guy for two hours then tip out from that leaving what--$100-125?So our 30 mins finish - which went very quickly and equalled about 2 dances! Lol.

Why do you think American dancers are cool with being pushed past the legal limit but Brits aren't? We're just like you.So our 30 mins finish - which went very quickly and equaled about 2 dances! Most girls DO expect heavy touching in VIP. They want you the customer to stay back there all night so if they aren't aware that they can touch most girls will LET them know. Also, 200$ is the price for the dancer for a half hour regardless of if it is a single Person or a couple. I can't speculate on this particular situation but girls do this all the time..... Inflate the price at the end because they think the customer is drunk and will pay it without question. I am curious though, did this dancer tell you that 400$ was the price or did she say that included a tip?

Makes sense now!
When I worked at rhino, it was an unspoken rule to charge couples double since it still is TWO people. It would be like dancing for a bi curious gay male couple, they are still TWO guys. I would do $40 lapdances for couples. So now in my opinion, you didn't get ripped off, you got a discount!
And yea, touching isn't allowed in ANY club in Vegas but it's also unfortunately a norm to let it slide. It's scary to read that you are a dancer in this industry and yet behaved like the average nightmare handsy cheap client... Hope this trend in America doesn't start popping up in your club across the pond..

^^^ I usually charge double as well but I guess the question is did the dancer tell them 400$ straight up or did she say 200$ then tell them at the end, oh bythe way it's 400$ because there is two of you. If it was the latter that is shady. Im all for the charging double and adding tips at the end, ex " so you wanna leave 200$ for a tip right?" but if you state a price in the beginning and then try to change it at the end that is a rip off. It's a slippery slope.... A dancer could say, " well they were handsy" and feel justified to demand more next thing you know it's " well they smoked and Im allergic" so Im charging double or "his breath wasn't fresh" so Im charging double. I guess what Im trying to say is Im all for double charging for extra people or adding on large gratuities at the end but from a customer service standpoint I think it's wrong to tell a customer one thing in the beginning, then flip the script at the end.

I'd love to see a poll of dancers in Vegas saying how many expect to be pawed and would MAKE the customer get hands on because they can't think of any other way to extend the VIP time. You can speak for yourself and your friends but I'm not buying that your methods go for all the dancers that work there. It certainly didn't go for me or the girls I worked with in Vegas.

No. You have misunderstood. I never said this was MY method. I said that a large percentage of girls do it. I see it every night. I have had to cuss girls out for pushing the customer to touch not only her but me as well. " ooh baby, yeah we like it when you touch our titties". Um no bitch YOU like it. That's why I refuse to work with girls I don't know personally or have a feel for. I don't know when and where you worked in Vegas but there is an air of desperation here now. There is money here but those less skilled at pulling it out will most definetely encourage a customer to grab their boobs and smack their asses to stay in the VIP where they are guaranteed money rather than hustle on the floor with 300 other girls.

Take a stroll through any Vegas VIP on any given night, and you'll most likely see a TON of serious dry humping and groping. Whether some girls do it or not doesn't change the fact that most do, AND they encourage it, AND they even act a little uncomfortable if someone doesn't try to touch. The only time that shit cools down *temporarily* is when there's a rash of raids going around. Then as soon as the heat dies down it's right back to business as usual. Rhino is one of the worst.
Also a lot of girls do a lot of chitchat in order to dance less during a VIP, so someone can easily only get 2 dances in a half hour. I've done it plenty of times myself. OP didn't say it seemed like 2 songs, but 2 DANCES. Different.
Judging from what OP said, I still think the chic was attempting to rip them off by conveniently "forgetting" that she was charging $200 per person for the couple, until of course it was time to pay up.
