    Default Women's Multi-Vitamin Recs

Looking for recommendations for a good women's multivitamin. I've always used One A Day for Women, which is fine, I guess, but I was looking to upgrade my vitamin regimen.
    I currently take:
    *One a Day for Women
*Andrew Lessman Hair, Skin & Nails supplement from Home Shopping Network
*Nature's Bounty Super Cranberry (for preventing UTI's)
    *Tonalin CLA

Looking to upgrade my multi-vitamin and any suggestions or tips on my current regimen are very welcome!

Why dont you buy each seperate vitamin for daily take? I find the multi-vitamins to be such a waste of money since you can get more value when buying each of them seperate and it lasts long even if more money is spend, I think its better in the long run.

mutli-vitamin; If you buy each seperately you'll get more into your system than the multi-vitamins, as they have less % in one pill. I take these daily, and most/all of mutli-vitamins contain these; (just check the bottle yourself to compare)

    beta-carotene (form of A)
    Vitamin C
Vitamin D (buy one mixed with Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, and/or Zinc)
    Vitamin E
Vitamin B (most have Thiamin (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid,

    For the hair, nails etc. I did the same thing. I had an extension problem with my hair 9 months ago and decided to buy things to make my hair grow (they help along with nails) I'd suggest these. Buy them seperately;
    Biotin 5000
    MSM
Flax seed oil or Fish oil
    (vegan) silica
    l-cystine (optional)

Ive been taking that on/off for 9months and saw improvements. My hair takes forever to grow, these helped me.
You can compared that with your hair and nail bottle, google each and see whether they seem right for you or not.
This is whats in the bottle your taking now http://health-fitness.hsn.com/cnt/pd...spx?pdf=957725

I enjoy a cocktail of Nature Made Gel Multi for Her (with iron, I believe), an L-Lysine 500 MG pill (for skin health), and two Vitamin C gummy supplements (for adults! woo-hoo!). I also have a Biotin pill that I take on and off (I don't feel much of a difference either way). I also at least 16 ounces of unsweeted cranberry juice + 2 teaspoons of organic ACV for urinary/vaginal/intestinal health and wellness. I'm trying to avoid taking a handful of pills myself, but this section has me examining CLA & fish oil and junk.

I used to scarf down a plethora of vitamins every morning, but now I get MUCH better results making a constant effort to consume nutrient dense foods and now I just take the basic vitamins which are....

Country Life Maxi Hair (http://www.vitacost.com/Country-Life-Maxi-Hair) once in the morning with breakfast, once in the evening with dinner. I think these are an amped up version of the Andrew Lessman ones you are taking now.

Biotin 5 mg once a day

Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 1-2 pills per day

Carlson Cod Liver Oil 1 tablespoon per day with breakfast

Country Life Vitamin D3 2,500-5,000 iu

Jarrosil 15 drops in a glass of water or tea each morning

These are all focused on hair, skin, nails. My hair has NEVER been this long in my life, and my nails have never been whiter or stronger! I honestly believe also that high omega 3's, and a good balance with the omega 6 and 9's DRAMATICALLY improves one's mental health and mood.

^^^ agreed - I am really careful to try and get my nutrients from food. What I would suggest is getting a good food tracking program and tracking your diet for a few weeks (ideally a month) and then looking at the nutrients that you are obtaining from diet. You should be able to see which ones you are getting more than enough of, and which you are deficient in, and choose individual supplements accordingly. It IS possible to overdose on a vitamin.

Other than that, I love spirulina as well as holy basil....they are awesome additions to your diet!
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

taking individual vitamins is best, and using bone broth and/or kelp to fill in trace minerals as well.
