Im in finance to get a CFP license (Certified Financial Planner)... It's boring but worth the time or else I wouldn't have picked something else either way.
I am/was thinking of getting into project management, mainly construction project management cause I always had interest in it. That will be my second choice if things dont work out for me.

The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

BA in communications, minor in marketing.
MA in media communications and instructional design
Oddly, even though my past background is mostly broadcasting my later jobs seem to be training and that's what I get interviews in. Training is the jobs every company has where you design training programs so people can learn something. My particular specialties are accounts payable and software training (teaching people to learn software like Microsoft Office).

Graphic Design and Art Education with a minor in Art History. I want to join the Peace Corps after I graduate and then work on getting my Doctorate so I can work in a musuem.

I'm majoring in Communications and thinking of adding an International Relations minor. Not sure exactly what I want to do but thinking of Public Relations or maybe applying for Law School. I hear Pharmaceutical Sales is another good field, but I'd have to take more science classes.
Another Communication major here!
Another for finance and accounting... mostly for enjoyment.
I originally went to school for mortuary science... but I've got a couple more classes to finish next semester that I wasn't able to get into this round that are required to get into the program for embalming that I want to take.

English. Working on becoming a legit Melville scholar. If that doesn't work out, I'll just write about Melville in a blog. More people would read my shit there than in academia lolz.
I'm a Communications major but I'm thinking of changing to Psychology
I'm about to graduate with my bachelors in Biology, then it is off to graduate school for I'm not exactly sure what. Hopefully physician assistant if I can get in. I doubt I can do much with just a bachelors in biology

I graduated in May 2010 with a Associates degree of Applied Science with a major in Police Science.
So far I have applications out with two local jails, the Montgomery county sheriffs office, the virginia forestry service, and Virginia Fish and Wildlife(really really want this job). ugh I hate the waiting game to hear back from jobs.

I did internships and to be honest didn't really help meet people. It did help me get experience though.

media and film!!
I love smart beautiful women......love it!

Astronomy! That's awesome!!
I started off in Law (decided it was a little too un-creative) and then did a BA Interior Design, but by the time I was done the degree, I never wanted to touch it again. Bad choice, apparently.
I intend to go to art school once I move back to Europe (I can't really afford international rates) as I am a tattoo artist (apprentice right now) and would love to have more arts education.
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

Hear me ramble about random things:
My ex spent each of his summers for the 4 years he was in school interning for the same company, but about the time he graduated, the company he'd been interning at went under. The guy he'd been working for recommended he apply for another business where he knew someone. Even though my ex completely BOMBED the interview... they gave him the job anyway based on what the business owner he'd interned for told them about how skilled my ex was.
Interning may not work out for everyone... but it can give you the chance to prove how skilled you are... even if it doesn't help you meet someone you want to work for, it can still provide excellent references for when you do.![]()
