Dizzy Starting out in the bizz?

Okay, so here is the dealio. I'm interested in stripping. The problem is I don't much about how to start out. I live in southern California. What do I need? How should I prepare myself? Also, I'm posting a few pics of myself and I was wondering your opinion on if I should try stripping or would it be a waste of my time. I'm so confused on how to go about this. Thanks for your help! XOXO

There is no "right look" to become a stripper. -_- There are all kinds in this industry. Hot ass fucking barbies with fake tits, crack ho's with no teeth, saggy ass tits from 5 kids and a C-section scar, goth bitches with too many tats, skinny ass little spinners, black girls with big booties, white girls with big ass booties, aging cougars with tit jobs dating back to whitesnake's last tour.

You dig? What you need to ask yourself is do you have the balls to do it?

However just because there are diverse looks in this industry doesn't mean every club will hire you. I'm covered in tattoos. I sure as hell wouldn't try to walk into Rick's or Delilah's. I could give three shits.

I don't know much about diego except you need a license. You're cute and you have a nice smile. You should do fine.

Later on who knows, you may want to bleach your hair and do the whole Barbie thing. Others will disagree but blonde Barbie dolls are the great white sharks of the stripping world. They are the apex predators.

Yes, you can definitely be a stripper.

That being said, your area is currently notorious for very little money, a rough hustle, and high contact / lots of extras. At least from what I've been reading on here. That's what I'd be concerned about if I were you.

What tempest said. Go around to a few clubs in your area, bring some friends, have a fun night out, get a feel for a few places, then call the ones you like and ask if they are hiring dancers, they'll either tell you to just come in or give you a time to audition. You'll need a pair of platform heels (try to stick with black, white, or clear for your first pair as they'll go with everything) and one or two outfits, try to use what you already have in your closet if you can. Then just go to your audition, be CONFIDENT and NICE to the management, if they are on the fence about hiring you, kissing ass can help. Feel free to chat to some of the girls when you're there if they don't look busy or you have questions, but they'll appreciate a little tip for their help

Definitely try it out! I'd look for a smaller club to start out at: a lot of times, dive clubs can be a better intro to the industry. They aren't so overwhelming, and they're great for getting used to dancing and customer interaction.

Bunni hops is cute as hell and she has not been a happy camper about diego clubs. Is traveling an option for you?

Isn't there one club outside of diego where you don't need a license?

Yes actually! I can travel to close cities by SD like LA, OC, or even Vegas.

You are pretty and yes you could be a stripper. I don't know California so can't suggest, but have heard many clubs tend to hire Barbies so they may not hire because of that. However, most clubs would hire you.

I'll tell you the same thing I told bunnihops. White girls are a commodity in El Paso TX and New Mexico.

You look great and I imagine you wouldn't have trouble getting hired at most places. I just wanted to second Odette's recommendation about going out to clubs you're interested in working at to get a better idea of the environment. Based on your asking if you have the look of a stripper, I assume you've never been to one, since there's really all types of girls that strip, not all of whom are conventionally attractive. Visiting a club will also give you a better idea of what's expected and if that's something that you want to do.

"Do I have the look" isn't really a valid question unless you're looking for a higher-end club. ;P
Otherwise... there's basically a club for just about everyone.

I had a friend who once worked at Deja Vu and seemed to like it - though they had a VIP room and I have no idea what happened in there. This was many years ago (about 2006) but I remember her mentioning a club called Cheetahs (sp?) that she wouldn't go to (that many of the girls she worked with did) because too many extras were expected.

All you should have to buy for your first time is the shoes.

With shoes - most only come in whole sizes, go a size smaller (if 6.5 go with 6) because they stretch. I got clear with ankle straps, they were a 7 where I was a 6.5 and were really loose after only 3 or 4 nights. then the buckle broke...I was told the mary-jane style ones run a size larger which is what I'm dancing in now...I'm still new. I bought mine off another girl when my last ones broke. The thing about those is you MUST wear peds (mini socks) or something because they get very slippery inside. I actually kinda hate them because my feet can't breathe and really smell at the end of the night.

Hope that helped and wasn't confusing/useless info. Good luck to you!!

I'm sure that you can find a club to hire you - very few women are completely un-hireable, and you look pretty sexy, so I doubt that that would be an issue.

What do you need? Balls!! Lol...honestly, the confidence to walk in somewhere is usually it, though the basic starter-kit would be decent shoes, and a cute outfit bikini/lingerie/whatever your target club has for outfits.

How should you prepare? Go to clubs as a customer! Go with friends, pick the one with the vibe you like best, and then call them and ask about how to audition.

    Good luck!

Umm hells yeah you do! If I was at the club, I'd buy my man a dance from you and be like "yum"
