    Default Stolen customer

Okay ladies here is the situation:
I have been seeing this regular customer every week for six months. We correspond when I will be working through emails. I came in on a night I do not normally work and he was there. When I approached him he said he was waiting for another dancer and would not be coming in to see me his normal Tuesday night. I just smiled and said not a problem and walked away to the next customer. He did an hour champagne room with the dancer. Is he gone for good? Can he be won back and if so how?

Well, he wasn't "stolen", he just wanted something new.
See if he comes in to see you in the next few weeks and then you will be able to figure out if he's still into you or not.

You can't really steal a person.

Lots of us have been here before and it really sucks but there is not much you can do. Maybe send one more email telling him you've had fun and he can let you know when he'll be in the club, and give him a smile whenever you see him but anything more than this will probably begin to look desperate. Sounds like you had a pretty good run with him, time to find the next guy.

However......men want what they can't have.....act extremely disinterested like you don't give a fuck, but not so cold that he thinks you hate his guts. A sidelong glance, a brief smile, etc. You know the drill.

All regulars have a shelf life. It sucks if they move on to another dancer, but now you have time to try and cultivate an even better regular. I might shoot him an email next Tuesday (not the coming up one since he's already said he's not going to go see you) to let him know you're working, but if he seemed really disinterested when you spoke with him in person I wouldn't bother.

Be thankful he saw you every week for 6 months. Remember these customers have an experation date. No one owns anyone, and he is entitled to spend his money on who ever he wants. It sucks, but that's the way it is. If he comes back, great. If not, on the next(which may be even better).

You had a good run with him... at least he was polite in ending things and chose a new night to come in rather than coming in on your shift spending money on someone else.

Some regulars will hang around for years... but for the most part... I'd say 6 months is a pretty good run.
