So one side of the debate is trying to impose their view and the other side is not? Were the people campaigning to legalize it decades ago trying to impose their view on others? By trying to maintain the status quo, you are trying to impose your views on others.

Between your stance here and your view on Obama's handling of Egypt's revolution I will just say; just because you can type Libertarian doesn't make you one.

Never claimed to be in lockstep with any party.

Are you serious? you are still as free to not have abortions as you have always been. Nobody is imposing their views on you.

The question never was and never will be what I might or might not do. The debate is about whether or not society allows such activities. Just because I wouldn't kill someone doesn't mean someone else should be allowed to.

Not allowing you to control what others can and can't do with their bodies isn't imposing their views on you, it is preventing you from doing that to others.

And disallowing abortion is simply stopping them from doing harm to the human being developing inside them. I'm looking out for the best interests of the child.
