Angry Warning: When things sound too good to be true

I know most of us get offers from guys that promise us the world, most talk a weak game but the ones that talk a great game are the ones that we need to look out for. I have been camming fulltime for a year now and thought I was bullshit proof until last week and fell hook line and sinker and now I feel like such an idiot. I never did meet him but he wasted a lot of my time and he really did make me feel like he was a really great guy, but when it came down to it, he was just a big fat liar.
"Dave" found me on SM and this was his email:

    dselbst33:
Hey it's me. I talked to you about the 20,000 dollar cash offer. Here's details. I'm meeting with my top 5 investors not this weekend but the following. I need someone that can accompany me and make me look good. The main goal would be to convince them we are together. The reason I need this is 8 months ago my wife suddenly passed away in a motor vehicle accident, the investors all think I am married still and that my wife is living. They have never met her. They will be with their spouses as well. As far as boundaries go, I will not overstep any of the personal boundaries you set with me. It is a thursday night til sunday night or monday morning. All flight expenses will be paid in full, hotel will be paid in full, all drinks and food paid for and you will recieve the 20,000 dollars in CASH ONLY upon your arrival. I am very serious in this offer. Please let me know asap.

How about we post offers that sound to good to be true so other girls can check if these douche bags have been using the same lines on other models. I tired to do a background check on him using his name and cell # but nothing came up.

Why couldn't he just tell the "investors" that his wife passed away? That would be the first question I'd ask. But yeah, that DOES really really suck. Live and learn, I guess. :/

Most personal bankers/wealth managers maintain the image of being married mostly due to a level of trust in the business. That being said, I'm 99 percent certain this guy is feeding you a line of BS. I'd ask for some level of proof that this amount can be given to you in cash. Perhaps a cash advance.

I just wanted to say this is absolutely true. I also know of a few big time bankers who would only do business with other married men.

I think he's scam for sure. He could possible be linked into human trafficking his whole message flashes big red flags. The fake promise to earn 20K, flights, hotels and he mention meeting up with other people. I can see the signs right now that he could be trying to reality plot something horrible and on top of that his name don't come up under background check is the key.

Good you did your research about him. I think SM should get rid of his account and also he needs to be reported to check to see if he's linked into human trafficking.

Have you read my post on the human traffic man?!

I got a VERY similar offer!
Never ever ever ever take anyones offer to "Fly you, or Drive you" ANYWHERE
    This is
1 there way of getting you there
2 their way of getting your passport/ID number

Always say this , even if its a bluff.

'Well ok (Joe blow) I will let you know , first i will need your full name so i can do a short background check , just to assure my safety. Secondly i will need a 2 way cam conversation with a whiteness of my choice for identity purposes, and 3rdly , a signed contract faxed to me with your full intentions , SIGNED.

This almost always scares off the bullshitters , and if it dosnt , just stand clear altogether.

Never be bashful against losing a maybe offer , your saftys at risk.

So what happened with him? How did you realize it's not the real deal?

What do you think his intentions are? DO you think he'd actually get you to fly out there and then try to HURT you? Or do you think he just gets off on getting a girl 'excited' about making a lot of money and then laughing at her when her 'hopes are dashed'?

I ask, because I go the SAME guy in my room, with the same offer.... ;-) (Edit: Acutally, he offered me 30k, it looks like. LMFAO!) He said he'd meet me in New York with half the cash, then he'd fly me to his place to do the meeting, and give me the other half.

He's obviously full of shit, because if a guy really wanted an escort to a business function, there are ways to find very very good ones that don't involve 20k and talking to camgirls on SM. LOL!

Plus, he gave me a business name and it looked very sketchy and vague.
If it sounds too good to be true, ..... etc etc. ;-)

Hang on... I wonder if I can dig up the email this asshole sent me.....

OK here it is.... i've X'ed out my email addy.... fyi, he told me his meeting is the 4-6 of february.... I should email and ask him how it went. ;-)

Sure. Its the 4th-6th. I would fly out to you before hand and give you the money. You would sign an agreement that you were paid and agree to work. Then ill fly you out and put you up in a hotel. Your job will be to make me look good and make my investors think you are my girl. 30k cash. That simple.

SO, I'M THE OWNER OF A BIOCEUTICAL COMPANY, A SUPPLEMENT COMPANY, AND A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY. I HAVE A BUNCH OF INVESTORS COMING DOWN AND I HAVE TO TAKE THEM OUT FOR A WEEKEND TO DINNER AND CLUBS. I NEED SOMEONE GOOD LOOKING TO ACCOMPANY ME AND MAKE ME LOOK GOOD. YOUR JOB WOULD BE JUST TO MAKE THEM THINK WE ARE TOGETHER. NOTHING MORE. I WOULD NOT EXPECT SEX OR ANYTHING OF THE SORTS. 30,000 CASH WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU. I WILL FLY OUT AND MEET YOU BEFORE HAND AND HAND YOU THE MONEY SO YOU KNOW IT IS REAL BEFORE YOU FLY OUT. YOUR HOTEL AND EVERYTHING WILL BE PAID FOR. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS OFFER. 954-661-0466. SHOOT ME A TEXT AT LEAST IF YOUR INTERESTED.

LOL... someone should crank call him. ;-) He told me his name was BRIAN MILLER.... and the email address ([email protected]?!?!?) was a dead giveaway that he was full of it. I'm sure it's the same guy.

    -J

PS. I'm posting these emails not because I'm a malicious bitch and want to out this guy's email... I just want to impress upon other girls that yes... if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS... and that there are guys out there with a LOT of free time on their hands. Who knows... maybe this guy just gets a kick out of 'toying' with girls on the internet, and that's as far as it goes? But... maybe his intentions are more sinister. Either way... be careful... safety first!!

I'll tell you why they do this, or most of them any who... It's as simple as this.

    Guy meets cam girl
Guy knows she's a sexual cam goddess and isn't shy on cam
Guy figures if he plays nice, and gives her the reason to talk to him more
He will eventually get free shit.

Everytime a cam girl, model, escort , meets a shady client they need to post a screen name.
That way if another girl try and search his name, the thread with him in it can be found.

    Goodluck girls! Stay safe!!!

That's probably because his wife is still alive and well!

This is such an obvious line of bullshit. I've been seeing a guy who deals with a lot of investment bankers. He never brings a woman along on any of his business stuff. He brought me to London because I wanted to go but he went to his meetings alone.
