Default Speeding up recovery time from boob surgery?

I've been reading stuff about Arnica Montana being used to speed up healing time after a boob job. It takes the swelling and bruising down apparently. Did any of you ladies use something to help speed things up? And yes I know that everyone heals differently and I shouldn't rush anything but that's not what I want to hear, so...?

I haven't had a boob job, but Arnica is great after most surgeries.

I would say lots of rest for the first week, and lots and lots of water. Get off the pain meds as soon as you can - they tend to really mess with your system, make you constipated, lethargic and you tend to gain weight on them. Eat really well. Massage your breasts as much as you can (if your doctor says it's okay) and use Arnica and take vitamine E orally.

how your body heals after trauma (like surgery) is directly effected by the food you are eating at the time. The ability fir the body to heal will be how well your diet is. eat well, whole foods. you might want to take stomach bacteria (good bacteria) to replace what the antibiotics kills off.

If you are getting partial or full unders do not do any chest exercises for as long before as possible. So stop pole too if you use it now. They will drop and fluff quicker if your pecs are not as tight.

We have no pole on mainstage so I don't do any pole work anyways... I haven't worked out in like, 3 weeks either :/
Jessie, did you use Arnica Montana or Bromelain for your bruising and swelling??

Would say arnica and anything that increases circulation and or oxygenation of the blood like cayenne and vitamin c respectively.

Excellent. No my doc asked that I take a high dose of vitamin C and Bio Zinc for a week before and 2 weeks after. No alcohol or anything that thins blood 2 weeks prior or 1 week after.

I actually had no bruising at all. I dont think my swelling was too bad either. He gave me special little ice packs that fit into my surgical wrap and I was in a compression wrap that strayed on for 1 week. When it came off one of my incisions was already perfectly healed the other I had problems with for about 5 weeks which turned out to be my bodying pushing out the internal stitches. Once they came to the surface it healed up perfectly in less than 48 hours.

My biggest prob was I was really weak from not lifting my arms above my head for 6 weeks. My muscles totally atrophied and my arms were soooo skinny! I think my skin is pretty tight because it took at least 6 weeks for me to be able to stand straight with my shoulders back. Even now 8 months later the underneath part is still stretching (I can tell because the skin is shiny).

Everyone heals differently... I hope you have the speediest recovery so you can get back to it and make all that $$$$. I cannot believe the difference its made for me.

I used arnica as well and I didn't have any bruising with my BA. I also got off the pain meds in about three days. I bought a kit called sinnech. It has the correct dosage to take the day of surgery, and the following two days after.
I ate a lot of pineapple because I heard it helps with swelling/bruising.
I had a second surgery (not a ba), and I also used arnica and I had major swelling and bruising with that surgery..

I also heard not to take vitamin e right after the sugery because it can make the scars widen or something like that.
