If you notice a tear or a small hole in the stockings, use a little bit of clear nail polish on the area (cover the entire tear). You can keep a little bottle of clear nail polish at work just in case.
They might also be more prone to tearing if you're washing them in a washing machine -- that can be way too harsh. Ideally you should hand wash them with warm water and mild detergent and hang them up to dry.
If this brand keeps tearing on you, as cute as they are, it doesn't seem worth wasting 20$ on stockings you can only wear once. Go for cheaper ones so even if they do rip soon, you didn't waste as much money on em.

Find a more economically priced yet very similar looking style. When customers catch things on them inform them of the damage clause. Since you tore my blah, blah you can either tip me or get a dance because these have to be replaced or damn, these were my favorites( sad face). If you say it nicely it usually works so they ask how much for the replacement or the dance. Since your stocking are about dance priced there you go.
Thank Goodness I smartened up! The old me is dead and gone.
If this is an ongoing problem... I know how to solve it! LOL It seriously happens to me with nearly EVERY pair of... anything I buy. >.<
I bought a couple of those like 50 cent knee highs that come in the little plastic ball from walmart... cut off just the inch at the bottom (that covers your toes) and I put those on before I put on normal stockings.
As far as other tears... you just have to learn to by mindful. Before I started paying more attention... I'd cause tears with my nails, my rings, while giving dances. *_*
You just have to treat them like they're as delicate as they are.

Ripped stockings can be very sexy... I guess it depends whether you're going for glamour look or a wild Goth look.
