    Default Message from PayPal

Your payments will be held in a pending balance
We're writing to let you know about a change to your PayPal account.
Starting Mar/28/2011, money from payments you receive will be placed in a pending balance for up to 21days. By doing this, we're making sure that there's enough money in your account to cover potential refunds or claims.
Even though you can't access the money right away, please ship orders quickly and communicate with your customers. After 21 days, you can withdraw money from each payment as long as the customer hasn't filed a dispute, chargeback, claim, return, or reversal.
The money may be available sooner if:
We can confirm that the item was delivered.
Your buyer leaves positive feedback. (Applies only to eBay items)
This change isn't necessarily permanent. We'll review your account every 35 days and re-evaluate if we should continue to hold your payments. If we decide to stop holding payments, we'll email you to let you know.
Why are my payments being held?
We reviewed your account and determined that there's a relatively higher than average risk of future transaction issues (such as claims, or chargebacks, or payment reversals). We understand that it may be inconvenient to have your payments temporarily held but please know that we didn't make this decision lightly.
Before deciding to hold payments, we consider many factors. These factors include account and transaction activity, the rate of customer disputes, the type of business a seller runs, average delivery timeframes, customer satisfaction, performance and history.
    Questions? Let us know
We understand you’d like to have immediate access to the money you receive and we’re here to answer your questions about this change to your account.
For more information and tips on what you can do to avoid having your future payments held, please see our Frequently Asked Questions. To speak to a Customer Service representative, log in to your PayPal account and click “Contact Us” at the bottom of any page.
    Thanks,
    PayPal

Wow, I had forgotten all about Payoneer...thanks for mentioning it, PrincessJenny. I'm glad I still kept my Payoneer card, though I wish they didn't have so many fees. I'm gonna read up on AlertPay more too, to see if I should go that route or just stick with the Payoneer account I already have. I think after going from getting paid twice a month (the 1st and 16th) to getting paid daily, I've kinda gotten "spoiled," and now I don't want to go back to less frequent pay.

I used to be good at saving money when I was younger. This is something I will need to work on, in addition to my terrible fast food addiction (so many fast food spots near me, and I'm not a very good cook like my grandmom is).

For a little while there, I was doing pretty good about getting paid via PayPal, and letting the money accumulate in my bank account and forgetting that I even had money there (that was pretty cool).

By the way, I get guys on MFC asking me if I have PayPal, but honestly between PayPal's strict policy and some of these bullshitty MFC guys, I'm just not comfortable offering them PayPal as an option. The only reason that I use it for MFC and AW now is that I have a lot of respect for PrincessJenny, and I feel more at ease about it when dealing with her.

    God, I hope so!

Daily pay is one of those things where once you've gotten it, you love it and don't wanna go back to weekly/biweekly/twice-monthly pay.

I got that message on my Paypal a year ago Brownfox....and they didn't even hold my money for 21 days or anything like that I kept getting paid. I think they do this a little while after you start getting frequent payments.

Direct deposit will be here soon too so nothing major to worry about.

Payoneer is available for dailypay here its nearing the end of testing but you can sign up already.

There was a thread before about costs for dailypay users. US members on AW will either come out the exact same or slightly (0.01%?) less. AW converts to euros then to £ then to $ for US, for UK its only euro then £. Once DD is active it will be cheaper for all US and UK members using another countries site (MFC/US-AW/UK etc) than normal methods then you get the added bonus of dailypay and no minimum payout etc.

From what I have been reading online paypal has frozen MANY people's accounts for various reasons and they are unable to withdraw funds. Paypal has the ability to one day decide you must prove your identity to their satisfaction (even if you are a merchant with a merchant account) and until you do things like fax a copy of your SOCIAL SECURITY CARD or your BIRTH CERTIFICATE they will freeze your account. Forget about the fact that they want NOTHING to do with the sex industry and will refund your payments received and withdraw from your primary checking to do this and close your account spontaneously if they have reason to believe you are being paid for sex work services (camming etc..). Seriously don't use paypal if you're a cam girl.
