Eh, they're alright, but I think you can get better products for the price. Do you live near a Sally's Beauty Supply? They have packets of deep conditioning treatment and repair treatments for 99cents. If you go when they're on sale they're half off of that. I find them much more effective than the hot oil hair treatments (which you can make at home BTW).

The price is very good when you consider that you probably won't need to use the whole packet. I use about half for a hair that's just below my shoulders.

Thanks that is really cheap i'll try it out!
It's a decent product, but afterwards it leaves my hair with a weird texture.
The Sally's packets mentioned earlier are really good. Or you could also try the Garnier Deep Conditioners, they always work well for me.

I ended up with nexxus brand emergencee deep conditioning. It was 15 bucks and I got it at walgreens, it wasn't as cheap as I wanted but I didn't feel like drivin all the way to sallys. I tried it today and i can't really tell a huge difference in my hair :/ I wouldn't buy again and I'm gonna keep looking for something else.
Hot oil treatments don't repair, they just moisturize/coat the hair shaft so it feels soft and shiny. If your hair is damaged, it is depleted of protein. Your hair is naturally made up of keratin protein, so try to find treatments that contain hydrolyzed keratin protein as one of the main ingredients.

Recommending Redken CAT for protein treatment: http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/p...ting-treatment
You can also try coconut oil (which I like more for skin than hair), or warm olive oil (which I love).

I like the organic root stimulator olive oil conditioner treatment. They have little packets for around $1.50 and a bottle for around $9. While I concur that you need a protein treatment a couple of times and then as regular treatment a couple times a month, I love this product for giving myself a LOT of slip. Either that or Pantene's ice conditioner always seems to do the trick for me, and I have pretty dry and tangly colors hair if I'm not careful.
For a quick cheapie fix I find cholesterol works pretty well. You don't need a lot and you can get it in the ethnic hair section of any drugstore. I don't use it too often - only when my hair is so frizzy nothing else will weigh it down - but it works for a fix. You can't really fix fried hair but you can mask it until you've grown out healthier hair.
V05 never worked for me.

Redkens All Butter and Smooth down deep Conditioners r great And more pricey but great r the L'oreal professional deep conditioners..They r about 30 but they r well worth it Also after deep conditioning regularly using Argan Oil and a leave in is very good for damaged hair I use all those products on my damaged hair and it helps alot

The night before I wash my hair I put peanut or olive oil in it, go into the sauna at my gym (a hair dryer will do the same) for 20 minutes to let the oil penetrate. I wash my hair the next day. Every other wash I use Mega-Tek conditioner which has transformed my hair. It's by the same company that makes Ovation Cell Therapy. It's pricey but you can get it off Amazon.com.
I like olive oil too! I'll mix it with a little mayo and let it sit on my hair whenever it's feeling particularly dry. As others have said, it doesn't really repair damage, but it makes it feel a lot less dry!
Weird! It always works for me. The results only last a couple days but it makes my hair soft and shiny. Wonder why it doesn't work for you! I also like Infusium 23 Leave in Treatment. Ever tried it?
Geez what's up with your hair girl? Just kidding![]()

Olive Oil makes my hair feel thicker and, as a result, stronger, but doesn't make it feel softer. Opposite actually - makes my hair feel heavier and more course. Mind you, I like the feeling of a stronger, thicker hair strand so I use olive oil occasionally; but for hair that's softer or smoother, nothing beats a good conditioning treatment.
