It's not good enough, I would say, and it's a pain in the ass because from time to time it will mess up Flash Player. Buy a Logitech for Mac.
I would recommend to get yourself external webcam. I'm using Logitech Quickcam Pro Vision Pro (Mac version), you can also check out IPEVO Point Of View 2 it's compatible for both Windows and Mac and it include software. If you want to webcam on sites that require Windows cam software, it's recommended to get a webcam that's supported for Windows and get the bootcamp or parallel to run windows on Mac.
I used before i-sight but I didn't like that had to use lot of lighting and sometimes it would shut off on me if I moved the monitor screen and the only way for it to turn back on if I Resetting the System Management and to do that can find the info here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2090. I also didn't like with build in webcam that felt very limited on angles with external webcam can position it around lot more better.

I used the isight for a while and eventually got annoyed w/having to move the WHOLE COMPUTER to move the cam. You'll find pretty quickly that it's inconvenient. Then when you get an external cam not only will it be wicked convenient and easy but the quality and range of view will be a lot better.
If you have an older mac (like I do) you'll have to sorta hack its little brain to make an external cam work. First, turn on something that will use a cam, Imovie, Iphoto, then turn on your cam program. Finding the first cam occupied it'll use the second cam, the external one. Then you can turn off the first program.
Oh yes it's annoying when trying to load it up on flash site. I kept getting the i-sight camera loading only. I remember when I searched around on Mac forums about if anyone knew how to get external camera to load up from flash site and no one knew how to make it work. I just did a random guess open up i-sight in photobooth and then the logitech loaded up from camsites flash base.
Yes the isight is good enough!! Buy iglasses it's 10 bucks. I did just recently buy the logitech and just returned it. Auto-focus sucked on it. I returned it when I realized I made more money before I used the external cam. I sight is just fine, use extra good lighting and buy iglasses.
No. Invest in an external webcam ($60 for a Logitech 9000) and be warned that a lot of cam sites are not compatible with Mac (where Brownsugardoll's post helps).
Turn out top line and you won't find yourself back here going "Why is my traffic so slow?"

i started out camming on a netbook webcam and did so for 8 months. you can cam with anything low quality as long as yo uhave a hustle to back it up.
btw the isight is a pretty decent camera if you have good lights.
Yes i-glasses is good to use and before getting it can get the demo version to test it out.
