I just heard about this place the other day. It's called Diving Horse Cabaret & Steakhouse. I dance in Atlantic City and have been thinking about leaving my current club, so this place intrigues me. I've seen some of the photos on facebook and the club looks beautiful. I would love to hear more.

I'm waiting until after I get my titties before I go to any new clubs.

I dance in AC too, they were having their soft opening tonight from what I heard from one of our bouncers. Their proper opening is later but I heard they're still hiring girls. It's about half a block down from the city's main nude club so I'm not sure how that will affect it, but it's meant to be really nice inside.
I'm curious about how girls do at the auditions, I'm thinking about going over there and checking it out. I might pick up a couple of shifts there if it was good.

So is it located where Playground was/is?

Ok so from the little more info I got....
Bikini bar. As Miss_McKenna said, I'd like to see how that goes with the nude clubs around. Although from what I gather there are several bars (beautiful inside...watch the teaser on their website) and of course it's a steak house.
They offer table/lap dances as well as private rooms (champagne). I'm REALLY curious now so keep us posted if you to peek Miss_M![]()

i wanna go! when offered the choice of nudity or liquor, which do men usually choose?

if it's a pasty club, i'd be all over that!
Apparently it used to be a swingers club, and it has 3 floors with several bars. I'm guessing one floor would be the steakhouse, then the regular bar/dance area and then one floor is VIP rooms. There's meant to be a giant swing big enough for a bunch of people to play on at the same time, left over from it's swingers club past lol

Here's the website http://www.divinghorseclub.com/ They list their address as 9 South Martin Luther King Blvd. It's on the corner of Atlantic Ave. That's two blocks from the Greyhound/NJTransit terminal and 3 blocks from the Outlet Mall Walk. It's a bit of a funky neighborhood. I'm not being elitist, I actually lived and shopped in that area while working at Allure one summer. It's not on Pacific where the casinos are and it's not on the racially mixed side of town. The nearest casino, Resorts is 5-6 blocks away and Bally's is also about 5-6 blocks and these dudes don't tend to walk because off the main drag because it's dicey. Frankly, I would not recommend walking around there after dark (and I've lived in Harlem LOL). They could try paying the cabs to generate business. It seems like a strange location choice. I wish them the best of luck though!

yeah, i've asked about ac on here but received a lot of weird feedback about the scheduling and mgmt.

Is Bare Elegance in AC? I'm gonna be there on and off all summer and have been researching the best options. I'm currently considering Bare Exposure and Allure as well as Crazy Horse (or whatever the old Delilahs Den is now) Any suggestions or input.
Also when is Busy season in AC? I thought it was summer time correct?
Thanks![]()
^^ I think she means Bare Exposure

Do any of these clubs hire via email? I'd love to schedule a few working trips for AC this summer, but not if I have to drive 2+ hours just to audition.

^ Diving Horse is taking pics by email for new girls, but I'm not sure if they'd need you to still audition after that or not.

Found this on the Diving Horse's FB page. I'm not sure WHAT to make of the place...
Hmmmm.
"Conjuring up the nostalgia of the '20s -- a time when men were men, and Babe Ruth was only one-and-a-half men -- the Diving Horse is a 55000sqft Atlantic City compound housing a cabaret, steakhouse, and an inn/ couples retreat in the former Club Tru and Studio Six digs, though everything's been rehabbed to reflect a pre-gaming AC atmosphere and the “nostalgic glamour that saturated the acts along the boardwalk”. The fun:
Cabaret: Deco’d like clubs of yore with vintage valances on wood walls and a pressed tin ceiling, the cabaret’s showcasing 50+ performers engaging in all manners of stripteases and burlesque across three stages, including a main one rigged with a 20ft pole plus private rooms where couples can entertain one another...though probably not as well as the professional stripper working a 20ft pole.
Steakhouse: Wrapped in leather booths and situated on a windowed balcony overlooking the cabaret, the meat haven offers starters like beef carpaccio to go along with stout entrees including a crab cake sandwich, falafel-encrusted salmon with orange marmalade, and prime cuts like a 20oz Cowboy, also what you call Nate Newton when he’s running low on weed.
Sonora Bar: Named for the chick who jumped horses off diving boards in that Disney movie, and tucked behind the main cabaret stage, Sonora's illuminated by lighting hidden in a suspended brass horse and offers coy cocktails like the vodka/ olive juice Fluffer and the cucumber vodka/ lemon/ agave Menage-A-Trois finished with muddled strawberries, who never would've gotten involved had they not been so messed up.
Inn and Couples Retreat: You walk into a full-service bar upon check-in, and nearly every room overlooks the enclosed pool and sundeck, while the main balcony’s also got a canopy bar and hot tubs, where hopefully the 1920s Jazz is the only thing that’s Aged."

Apparently only the club and steakhouse is done so far, the hotel part hasn't even started construction.
Just wanted to update for dancers curious about Atlantic City...
Aside from the Diving Horse, there are 2 more new clubs that have recently opened. One is The Naked Truth, which took over for the old swinger's club, Caligula's. The other is Stilleto, which apparently took over for Lace. Both are nude.

I just got a job dancing at the new Stiletto in AC..the Lace is still there, but they split the club so that half is Lace (bikini and liquor), and the other half is the nude Stiletto. I'm working there this Friday, hopefully it will be good.
