    Default Where to shop?

So where do you ladies shop?

I know about places like yandy.com and snaz75.com, etc. That's fine for Bodyzone and the like. But what about the bra and panty sets with rhinestones and sequins and all that fancy, fancy jazz?

Are you allowed to wear Victoria's Secret or Fredricks of Hollywood in the club? I've seen pictures, and even heard girls suggest it to each other.

I only own Bodyzone right now, but I want classier stuff.

    Advice?

frederick's and victorias secret are good. i personally like to shop on ebay and lingeriediva.com. lingerie diva has some reeeally cute stuff that you can't find anywhere else. sometimes they are pricier so if you find something you like, figure out the brand and search for it elsewhere.

I like fredericks. I also go to local stores that cater to dancers. I have also found some cute skirt/bra tops at Dillards, of all places.

Cheap sets bought from like, target/walmart and self-enhanced.
Rhinestones are dirt cheap... slap on some e4000 and you're g2g.
Lace/ribbon/strips of diamonds are stitched on.

I seriously used to spend $30 to make a costume and resell it for $100+
It's really not hard to make a fancy outfit. That's what a lot of burlesque girls do.

^^It's really amazing how far a few rhinestones go...
My bestie from my old club had this one bra/panty set from, like, Hottopic that people were always going nuts over! Everyone thought it was such an amazing costume, ect and thought it was really expensive or custom made for her... and all she'd done was add a few rhinestones to the top/bottom and a bow on the panties.
There were seriously two other girls with the same outfit non-bedazzled and no one ever realized it was the same one.

Going to third just sprucin' up the stuff you find at the mall. From what I remember in the states, Charlette Russe had some nice basic Corset tops that pushed up boobs really well. A $20 corset + $10 in craft supplies = awesome stripper outfit no one else will have. Make sure you glue those rhinestones on well, don't want to picking the damn things out of your cootchie the next day...

    ^^^ LOL. Niiiiiiiiice.

Do clubs allow you to wear "underwear/lingerie?"

I've HEARD a lot of girls say that clubs don't allow you to. But I've SEEN differently.

They do. In fact, at my club at least, that's what most girls wear.

Forgot to say: for inspiration, I usually check out the pricier outfits at Trashy.com and coquette.com. I'm convinced that with enough time and patience and tulle I will one day make this out of a basic bra and pantie set (cuz theres no way I'm shelling out the $500 bucks or however much it costs.). http://www.trashy.com/Bollywood-Quee...02-product.htm

I just found www.lingeriediva.com and I LOVE them...I've placed two orders with them so far. I think their prices are pretty fair. You can collect points with them to cash in as a gift card ($100 = 10 off next purchase) and on the bottom of every receipt I've received is a coupon code for usually 15% off. Shipping is same business day and I usually get my order within a week (UPS transfers to USPS if I choose the free shipping option)....they also include a return label sticker if you have to send something back ($5.99 deducted from return amount..but I got free shipping anyhow so not too worried about that).

I love their selection of styles and especially SIZES! They carry the best stock I've seen online for L, XL, and plus sizes.

I go custom all the way, I can only think of one current outfit I have that was mass produced. Much easier to get something that fits better and suits your personality when it is specially made for you. Even with my customs, I still put stones and studs on them.

The places I work at, no one wears lingerie. I would actually feel strange wearing it if I had to- I prefer my stripper outfits.

Also those stores that sell clubwear like LVL X and The Body Shop (Or whatever they are called in your area) can be great places to find something to work in. You know the stores, the type where 95% of the clothing is made of spandex.

I love Trashy's outfits. I don't mind splurging when I can but some of those prices look like there should be a gun next to them for robbery. I wonder if many of the LA dancers are wearing their items?

Trashy's nice, but kinda expensive, to me..I have seen one of their swimsuits, I mean exactly, on newportnews.com, which is Avon's clothing.
Do you have Discovery clothing stores? They have some really cute stuff you could jazz up, & some stuff that's nice on its own.
I love Hot Topic, Char.Russe, Forever21, etc. but haven't been in them all for awhle.
Anyway, good luck, & I am going check out Tampa's link..

^ I've only ordered lingere, but I was happy with it, although it took a little while longer than expected to ship.

I just googled the company and it looks like a lot of people haven't recieved the stuff they've ordered. If I would have known, I wouldn't have reccommended it. It looks like it's a hit or miss, but based on the negative reviews I doubt I'd order from them again.

I wish more dancers wore lingerie in the SC. Lacy underwear, teddies, chemises, corsets, etc., are so classy and sexy - specially gartered with stockings attached. (Okay, maybe the garter is a bad idea because it can snap and hit someone in the eye.) Why is this so rare in the SC?

I've bought my GF a few sexy outfits from there. We've made about three purchases (multiple items each time) from there and never had a problem, except they do take a couple of weeks to deliver.

Right now they are having a 50% sale at their new site: http://beta.amiclubwear.com/
