I use Photoscape and I saw all the basic "brighten, darken, saturation" etc but it didnt seem to get it right. It could be my camera I suppose (its a Nikon coolpix L100) which I got a year ago as a gift or me just not knowing a whole lot about lighting etc. I just thought the DIY was kinda idiot proof ya know since its pretty basic stuff

I am super pale so I have issues with glare on my skin lol But I like to use a filter (thats what I call it anyway, my friend who's in photography school showed me) I use a very thin piece of light blue faux-silk material (Its all I had but any thin material is good) and hang it in front of the lights, it helps cut the glare without making the room less bright. And blue isint necessary, white fabric works too, I just use the blue to counteract the yellowness from my lights. But it works pretty good on getting rid of shine.
Also don't let the cloth touch the light or u could start a fire(common sense I know but I don't want to be responsible for any fires..), I have a standing lamp and hang the fabric from 2 hooks I put in the ceiling its about 2 inches in front of the lamp for safety.
Oh it works best to use bulbs that are 75watts or more, so thats my system anyway ^_^ hope it helps.

I did this once for an ex. I set up all my floor mirrors along one wall of a hallway to reflect light & so I could see my poses & how the light landed on me. I was also able to see the camera screen reflection. I hung a canvas drop cloth from home depot on the wall behind me. For a few photos I hung some ivory lace over the drop cloth. It was all very romantic. I also bought a few of those clamping work lights at home depot, $6 each I think & positioned them on a couple floor lamp posts I set off to the side & one clamped on the door. I did a few with up lighting & back lighting. The photos turned out really well. I think it really made the difference that I could see the lcd screen in the mirror so I could reposition my face or whatever. It was a little too far to see details, but you can see if you want your boob to be hidden by a shadow & it isn't. Those are my little tips.

Also, you can put a piece of black stocking over the lens for soft focus because good glass filters can be expensive. I have no clue about Photoshop so I have to "edit" the photos before I take them.

One more. If you decide to take any pics outdoors there's a phrase something like the golden hour, which is the hour right after sunrise and the one before sunset, and those are the most perfect lighting conditions for outdoor photography. No shadows, a "lit from within" glow, and altogether flattering. They safe beautiful photos are foolproof if you can stay close to those times. I'll bet indoor photos in front of a window would benefit from this too. No lighting equipment needed.

you know that's what they say, you've either got all the time in the world and no money, or all the money and no time

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

Does anyone still have this book or a similar tutorial? I looked everywhere on the web and it doesn't exist anymore.

Nowadays, go on any IG model's page, and more than half of their pics could've easily been taken on their own. These girls use the most simple equipment, decent phone, tripod, timer, etc. and work their angles. Its so easy. I don't deal with photogs, why would I want someone have risque pics of myself? No thanks

    Ladies,
when you post your ad on TER, you need to submit a photo from a link. Anyone know how to do it? I don't wanna use the same photos on my website so I can't use photo on it

I disagree, use www.imgur.com Not ony does it have a much higher resolution limit for free, it also scraps your meta data so that you are not tracked by your photo.

Escorts have been using imagecoast on TER for years. It obviously works for them. Never used imgur. If it works better, great.

    This is pretty bad

Maximum upload file size 1,024k 4,096k

    Maximum image dimensions 800x600

Of course if you pay you can go higher, but it is a ripoff.

I still recommend Imgur because they do scrap the metadata, the other site may also scrap the metadata but it is good practice to ensure you are safe.

Metadata *could* include your gps coordinates BTW.

I don't think she cares any of that. She simply wanted to post a pic on TER. Just about every working girl knows how to scrap gps coordinates hun. Been in the industry since I was 19, you're not talking to a newb here .
