    Default Family spotting

I'm working in a club three hours outside the city I grew up in and the city that all my friends and family live in. My immediate family knows that I strip.

Today I showed up at work, got changed, was there for a total of five minutes before I saw someone who looked a lot like my cousin. I didn't think that he saw me since he was texting and sent another girl over to ask his name. Yep. It's him. And I didn't think that he recognized me.
I booked it and got changed and all that. Like I said, didn't think he saw me. Except he booked it too and now I don't get to make money and he doesn't get to have a boys night out with his friends on his friends birthday! That's what I'm most upset about. If I had his number I would text him and be like. I'm gone go back. Since there's no way that I couldn't be his cousin now that I'm gone, too.

OH WELL! I love my life and dont really give a shit. Too bad he can't enjoy the night though. I kind of think it's funny and hope it didn't traumatize him too much.

Ahhhhh there were only five girls working too!

I've danced before in front of my cousins at diff clubs. My older cousin is always so drunk he never sees me on stage. My younger cousin always hands his friends money to tip me and either disappears in the bathroom, goes to the bar or gets a dance when he hears them call my name. It's a system that has worked for us for years. No weirdness, just personal respect for family in a public place.
Thank Goodness I smartened up! The old me is dead and gone.

I had a regular young fella come in each week for a dance for a good year or so, one night after after talking about families and shit we worked out that we were cousins! He was related to my husband so luckily not blood cousins, but yeah it was a bit of a shock.
