So I finally got some ivermectin for my dog, which is great because he's been without his heartworm meds for a few months which is really irresponsible of me. argh!

But! I found out that ivermectin doubles as an ear mite medication and the only website that I found talking about it, I just couldn't get the best handle on what ear mite dosage is.

And I normally dose him by shooting the medication into his chicken and feed it to him, but someone mentioned shooting it into his pinched scruff (which I did, but I did a half dose since I was scared.)

Anyway-- if any vet student or farm girl knows these details, please give me a heads up
