Default how much money should i bring to the SC?

    hey ladies n gentlemen,

I a newb to the strip club scene (im a guy), ive only been once to a club and it was in a foreign country (not in NA).

im planning to go to a SC with some friends next and i wanna have some fun for about an hour or two.

the place charges $20 per dance, so i was thinking $100-150 should be enough to enjoy myself for that time period.

    enlighten me please!!

    Thanks everyone

Seems like a good amount for an hour or two if you're mostly planning to kick back and tip the girls on stage and only getting a couple of dances... unless you're going to a club that serves alcohol and aren't the type to make a beer last... then you'll want extra $$$ for drinks.

If you're actually planning on enjoying dances... $100 (figure left after cover and tipping) isn't going to last too long, though.

Honestly... I'd recommend bringing more cash that you think you need. It's better to have that extra hundred or two if you decide you feel like splurging and not spend it... than to need an extra 20 and have to pay an atm fee!

Impossible to know without knowing more about the club. Is there a cover charge? Do the girls do tip walks and, if so, how many girls dance at the same time? How expensive are the drinks at the bar? Is there a shot girl?

If you let us know what area (don't have to be specific, just the general state/city area) the club is in, we could probably fine tune an estimate for you.

I would bring extra cash. Depending on the club you go to; do you need to have a drink at hand, is there a cover, do you they have bathroom boys, a velet, tipping the waitress/bartender, then finally the money for dances.

If you want to bring 100 for dances, bring another 50-60 with you if your on a budget if you are doing to have 1-3 drinks, and then tipping is left over, cover, coat check etc.

no cover charge and its$20 for a private dance. this is canada so we dont have one dollar bills to tip. i far as know drinks are standard price ($6-10)

^ All the CND clubs I have worked at had a cover charge. Whether it was 10-20$ OR to have a drink in hand while going for dances. After "happy hour" you will be looking at $9-12 for standard drinks, the higher the club the higher priced by a dollar or two.

hangin, sounds like $150 should be ok for a tame night. IME stage tipping is not common in Canadian clubs, but you will want enough money for a few dances and some booze.

Sometimes it is easy to lose track of what you spend in a SC, especially when you are enjoying yourself, so you may want to give yourself a little $$$ cushion. ATMs can be expensive in a SC and "funny money" even more so, so you will want to make sure that you have enough money to cover your expenses should you find yourself there longer than expected.

And by all means leave your debit and credit cards at home. When your money runs out, so should you.

    Good luck!

There are so many factors here, I don't think i can give advice on how to have fun because personally I wouldn't dare step into a club with less than $250 because I know what fun is for me and know what I need to do to get it (I normally get around 20 dances per visit at about $10 per dance and enjoy sitting and tipping at the stage, also depends if you want VIP time) I would suggest taking that $100-150 and using your first visit as your test drive, lol. It will last you.. you can stage tip and get dances/drinks easily, I'm sure you can have a decent night with $150 (first time i ever went, I went with around $150, It lasted 15minutes LOL rookie mistake!) considering this will be your first visit, I say just take it, have fun and see how long it lasts.. If it lasts for 20mins then well you've learned your lesson for next time

I think you should decide what you want.. Do you want to watch the stage or do you want a more hands on experience?

Anyway, with $150 depending on cover I think you could get around 5 dances (20 each) and pay cover, stage tip some girls and buy drinks

Remember depending on where you go drinks can get pricey..Some clubs I hit they are $8 for a beer, some are $2 for drinks all night (Love that place!)
I reccomend drinking a little before-hand If you want to drink and their prices are insane, just don't get so plastered that they won't even let you in the place..

And like others have said.. Leave the ATM Cards at home!! Don't get caught with those outrageous fees

i know in downtown Toronto, cover is about $3 - $5. some clubs will have a $10 VIP cover as well. you're looking at about $7 minimum for a beer (CP offers $7 beers)

stage tipping is pretty non-existant. i usually go with $200 and have a good time....mind you, once im excited its all over for me and i usually go to the atm 2 or 3 times after im done with what i bring. But for a basic 1 or 2 hour good time, $200 will suffice

Bring the amount that you can feel comfortable spending and not be angry at yourself when you get home.

No matter how much money you bring, it is never enough.

For your initial visit or visits, bring what you are willing to spend and leave the plastic at home. Better that you have a great time and run out of money earlier than you intended than you spent more than you can afford. Once you get accustomed to such places, you may not need to be so cautious.

to really enjoy your time, make an investment and bring $500. If you focus on 1 or 2 ladies and tip them $250 or more the next time you visit will be great. I like to find a lady who I find attractive, is very sensual and can have a good conversation. Every I have tipped $500 or more, the lady will give extra special attention the next time. Think of strip club investing instead of strip club spending.

Good to see you again 212 - it is always nice to see a fellow NY'er sharing his words of wisdom with other blues.

I'm going to pretend that I take this comment seriously for a moment...

I actually agree with the theory of tipping for time as a way of building rapport, particularly since I don't do many lap dances, but the OP is simply asking how much he should bring to have a good time for an hour or two with his friends. I don't think he is going to need to build rapport, nor do I see him making a move for OTC. In his situation he probably simply needs to bring enough for his booze and a few lapdances.

hangin, with $20 lapdances and $6-10 drink prices, I think that $200 should be fine for a couple of hours. As others have said before, however, leave the plastic at home and when the money runs out, so should you.

    ...bring more... $300-400

at 20 a dance and a 5 tip that only leaves you enough to sample 4 dancers seeing as the first 50 is for cover, drinks and stage tips. If you find a girl you really like and you're on your last of a 4 dance budget that kinda sucks.

$50 - will get you 4-5 drinks and allow you to tip your waitress.
$10-20 for VIP cover (You will have to pay extra if you want to get into the VIP areas where the contact dances are. Don't waste your money on floor dances. They're no-contact or light contact and not much fun).
$100-200 - for dances if you wish to get single dances in the main area of the VIP club (where everyone can see)
$300+ - if you want to get an hour of dances if a little more private setting (this varies by the club).

If you're a first timer I would recommended bringing $200 (as long as you can afford it). That'll pay for your drinks, cover and tips comfortably while leaving enough aside to enjoy 5-7 dances and tip your dancer.

If you plan on getting really wild, renting a booth/room, have the champange flowing and the girls fun and flirty all night, you're looking at 800+. Easy.

I've always gone with a minimum of $200 in twenties for dances, anywhere between $50 and $100 in ones and fives for the tiprail or stage and another fifty for cover and drinks. (I switch off alcohol early if I have to drink, don't bother at all if I can drink soda all night)
I generally spend it all, try really REALLY hard not to use an ATM card and leave as soon as I run out of cash.
This usually gets me through a few hours.

It all depends....I would just ask your friends what they're bringing and bring something similar. If they bring more than you, you may find yourself sitting and watching...a strip club is one place it sucks to be out of cash.
