This is a great thread.
Ive been reading through in search of answers to questions about asking for allowance. Ive seen man ask that question but Im somehow missing the answer![]()
I was interested in sugaring but I want to wait until I move somewhere bigger. It would be just my luck if I knew somebody that knew somebody that knew my SD

My personal advice, for what it is worth, just be up front. Most people who have money and no fixed SB work hard, and don't have a lot of time to waste. Tell them you want to take care of it so you can get to the fun part. Men usually appreciate directness. Don't bargain, just tell them an allowance that makes you happy. If they bargain, it probably won't go well.

Not sure if this helps, but..when I had an SD, it started out with me asking him for a specific amount of money to pay a bill here and there...after about two months, he asked me to just put together a list of all my expenses...to that he tacked on a bit of spending money and thats how we came to the amount for my allowance. A few months after that, he added even more more because when we were together we ate out all the time, and he knew I didnt like to cook, so that way Id be able to keep going out to eat every day even when he wasnt with me...which gets pretty expensive lol. So it steadily progressed over time..fairly quickly...but still, it started out small and grew as the trust between us grew and he wanted to make sure I could maintain the same lifestyle on my own as what he paid for when we were together.
But yeah, I suggest being upfront and just giving him a dollar amount. Personally, I like to attach it to something tangible and practical, because its goes without explanation why I want the money for it. For example, the first bill he paid for me was my daughters daycare...at the time it cost me about half what my pay was every week...he was pretty floored that I was basically working to pay for childcare so that I could work, he though that was ridiculous. Then, I needed to move and he wanted to make sure Id be able to live in a nicer place, so he paid for my rent, etc etc.... But yeah, I tapped into his practical side..so the majority of what my allowance covered at first were for basic living expenses...
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!
