    Default Average Income

I've been feeling shitty lately because I can't seem to make the same amount of money that I was making a couple of years ago. Even though in the past few months my income has improved, I still feel a bit down when I go home and count my money. I want to know what everybody's average is. The poll will be private.

I know that income depends on where you live, how hard you hustle, which club you work at, whether you cross the line or not, and so on. However, I would really appreciate it people would put down THEIR average night take, regardless of where they work. It would help out a lot, so I can figure out if I'm underachieving or not.

Most nights I make between one and two hundred, although this past month the average has been closer to three hundred. We're not a busy club, we're no-contact and I am terrible at the hustle. Most girls consider three hundred a pretty good night, although a small group are only happy over four or five.

I am in the Midwest. I've only been dancing about 5 or maybe 6 weeks now and have never danced at any other club. I'm told this is the slow season because we are no longer getting ski guys in but not into the summer tourist crowd that hits our area yet either so hopefully as it rolls into summer and I get better at my hustle, tone up, etc I will see my nightly average increase. I am currently average 200-300 (right around 250-300) making about 175-225 on Sun/Mon nights and 275+ on weekend nights. I do not work Tue/Wed/Thur right now. I'd love to get my average to 500 and then I'd be happy.

I've worked at a few different clubs in different areas and the average per shift varies from 200-400 for a 5 hour shift, depending on the club, the shift, my mood, and what else I have going on in my life. I've found mood to be the biggest factor though, so much so that if I feel like crap and can't pick myself up I'll stay home instead even if I was planning on going in.

I usually make 200-300 Tuesday-Thursday and 400-500 Friday and Saturday. That's during the night shift, and I don't really have regulars. I'm kind of superstitious about Sundays and Mondays, because I *never* seem to do well on them, so I avoid working those days.

I've chosen to work at a low hustle, low rent venue to avoid drama, late nights and maintain a little sanity. I make less than I used to when working in the big clubs but it's the price I'm willing to pay while studying... I couldn't handle school + a high hustle club.

On average I earn $200+ per shift, but as always this can fluctuate dramatically.

OK so from this I'm going to conclude that

$200-$300 is average and nothing to bitch about. That's the amount that most dancers are going home with

$400-$500 is good money, above average. If u make this much u should go home feeling happy

$600 and above is really good. If u are making this much then u are a top girl and u should be VERY proud of yourself.

$600 is barely worth going to the club for.
This is the absolute minimum I'd be satisfied leaving with. That's like only doing 4 dances an hour (and my club takes a higher than average cut).

    If I wasn't making at least $100 an hour... I wouldn't be a stripper.
Maybe if I were travelling/visiting friends I'd be happy with less... but only then because it normally takes me a little while to get into the swing of things at a new club. (I'm like the opposite of everyone else, I never make money as 'the new girl'.) But as an established dancer at a club... I should be able to get at LEAST 4-5 dances or a short CR an hour.

I've been feeling shitty lately, I can't seem to make as much as the other girls in my club. I am consistently one of the lowest earners (please no one tell me "switch clubs") switiching clubs is not the issue. I consistently do less than average almost everywhere I go lately. My out of town club, which is the one I frequent the most, I make the most, even though it's still pretty low. The average there for most girls is 300-500. I can't seem to catch up, and part of it is....I'll explain below:

This is exactly my main club. Very busy most of the time, no-contact....like very STRICT no-contact....guys get in trouble for touching my calves or even sides of my arms. I'm also terrible at the hustle there, part of my problem is I actually feel guilty for asking people for dances there....SILLY, I know....but I've got a bad case of the guilt and that's why I have a hard time hustling. Our dances are $10 on the floor, $20 in our upper level VIP are then $35 in the curtained area. Here's the catch....the rules are the same for all 3. It's not like the guy is gonna pay for the the $20 or $35 one and get any better of a dance then the $10. I wish they would at least up the contact allowance a little (just a little, not saying let them do anything) for the $20 and $35 ones.

Yet, girls still are cranking them in and out of the $20 and $35 rooms all night

Dude, monday was terrible for me....same boat as you. I made more $$$$ being a translation pimp than actually selling dances

And don't feel bad asking for dances! That's what guys come for!
See.....ugh.....here's the problem with that. 75% of our clientele is military, and they are the party type. It's really hard to sell that to them. They like to be out in the crowd close to their friends and "in the action"

We do have some older guys that come in and want to "escape" the party crowd, and those are the ones who normally go for the $35 room. Problem is we've had so many girls lately, these types get snapped up so fast when they come in, they get drained and then leave.

I dunno, my confidence if definitely an issue as well. I don't feel like I "deserve" to get paid the $20 or $35 dances. I just feel that if guys are gonna pay that it should be with someone who is more in shape than me, has tits, and all that.....

DON'T feel that way! That will kill your money quicker than anything. If you don't think you're worth it, there's no way to convince anyone else you are either!

i dont really understand this type of mentality or logic....to take home 300 bucks at a job where you work an 8 hour shift you would need to have an hourly wage of 40-50 bucks because of taxes....how can you complain about that kind of hourly rate or money??....that is just pure greed....

Sometimes actually most of the time these threads are just pure depressing. I'm just happy to have a job and bring home $800-$1000 a week. To those who say, "well if you're not making at least $1000 a night you shouldn't be a stripper" well what the fuck ever. I look in my newspaper and there ain't no motherfucken jobs in there. And I certainly am not going to go flip burgers cuz I'm not making that stripper "quota" of $2000-$3000 a week. So to all the ladies that are ONLY making, god forbid, under $1000 a week.. just be happy you got a job and are making more than MOST everyday people are making a goddamn month.

I am also often depressed reading these threads...even though I know that my location/circumstances are very different from the majority of you ladies. I understand that some people aren't happy with anything less than $500 or $600 but in my small town those figures are like...astronomical. Someone in my club might make that much once a month, but it's certainly not an average and not something we can take home on a daily basis. And I'm okay with that. My average is significantly lower than a lot of you and because I currently can't travel for work and can't afford to live in Portland (where the average isn't that much higher than here) I'm pretty darn happy making $17-$20 an hour.

I just get really frustrated with the ladies that seem to think that if we're not making x amount of money than we should just quit. Sometimes that just isn't possible. I think people should just accept that there are different strokes for different folks, lol.

I don't know. I plan on becoming a dancer by the end of the summer, but I wouldn't be happy with that amount. Seems like you ladies put up with a lot of bullsh*t and that price would just not be worth it...to me. If I'm only going to average that much,I'll just keep camming. Don't have to worry about men trying to touch all over me,extras' girls or shady management.

I tend to average 300-400 a shift, sometimes higher or lower depending on the club and location. No matter where I'm working whether its a nicer club or a dive my minimum goal is 200, which is still decent considering that is what I would make in one week working a minimum wage part-time job.

You would actually have to make closer to $60/hr....at my last "regular" job I made $40 an hour which after taxes is only a hair over $200/day. Regardless, although I respect your opinion, I would have to disagree that setting a high standard for one's personal expectation of income is ever greedy even if a person wants to make $1000/night or more. ESPECIALLY in an industry with a relatively short career life.

I recently left a club b/c my goal is to be a $1000/night girl, not only do I deserve it but I have a business plan and $200-$300/night won't get me to my goal in the time I've committed myself to this industry. Unfortunately, there wasn't $1000/night walking in the door so I made a change. I will be opening a business with the money that I earn from dancing. That business will employ other people at a rate much higher than minimum wage, therefore, doing my part to lower unemployment and improve the economy. I think if you look at it from this point you'll agree my desire to average $1000/night is hardly "greedy" but simply good business that will ultimately benefit far more than just myself.

Just remember: unreasonable people with high standards for themselves rule the world, while reasonable people who adapt themselves to accept subpar circumstances are doomed to a life of mediocrity. Which would you rather be?

I'm sort of in the same boat - I'm 44 and although there are ladies in the same age bracket as me in the club they have had all the work done and are the barbie types. My confidence hit the poo and I felt really old and stupid being in the club for awhile there, tried the fake tans, hair extensions and even thought about doing the cosmetic surgery to make myself look more like everyone else (I have a kid with a disability so i just can't justify splurging that sort of money on myself, and I don't really like the artificial look either). Anyway I noticed that although I do very few dances I seem to make money just talking to guys or one or two will spend big on me. Once I stopped worrying about how many dances I was doing I noticed that although I went into the lapdance room only 2-3 times a night I was still making as much and sometimes more than the other dancers. Hell, thats even better, less dances for the same money.
So now i carry a huge smile on my face because I've realized that I'm a niche dancer. No I'm not like any other of the dancers, some would even say i'm fugly, but some guys think I'm the shit and that's all it takes. Being a love her or hate her ordinary chick trying to be a stripper is what makes me special. I'm the cougar from the country, I'm real, I'm genuine and I do the most sensual lapdance that can be imagined. So now I focus on that fact. I find I hardly do the lower priced dances because I find the fellas that love me, and aren't into the barbie types.
When i do the lower priced dance it is distinctly different from the higher priced dance, still good, but I do lees moves and skip some of the sexier bits. You should try that so although the rules are the same in the different areas your higher priced dances are defiantly different and better. That way you have given the dances in higher priced areas a higher value.
