Clarify. Do you want a 4 year degree or some cert that may be (at best) useful as part of being a private trainer or something? I'm not a fan of registered dieticians as a rule either, but just because you are one does not mean you have to follow their teaching per se. It's also not FDA, it's ADA.
As mentioned, you can get nutrition degrees that don't lead to being a registered dietician. For example, Applied Nutrition at FSU:
Applied Nutrition Concentration
The Applied Nutrition concentration is for students who do not plan to become a registered dietitian.
Students take basic science courses in chemistry and biology in addition to a core of food and nutrition courses that provide a general background in nutrition and health, community nutrition, and foodservice management. Students complete a one-course internship during their senior year. Students choose a minor that provides an area of specialization.
