    Default Chip-In. Safe to use?

I know Paypal is a definite no-no when accepting payment for adult/camming. I've heard of Chip-In's and have seen girls using it on MFC/personal websites as a way to get tips, etc.

You get that money via Paypal as far as I know. How are these girls using it and not getting caught? Does the Chip-In hide it from Paypal so PP doesn't know where and why we're getting the money?

I would like to use this but I want to make sure before I set anything up. I don't want the risk of my account getting shut down.

I've heard a few get their accounts closed over it. I wouldn't risk it.

    DON'T DO IT.

I had both of my paypal accounts closed over ChipIn. Trust me, they'll catch up to you and see that you're advertising your ChipIn on an adult site and freeze your account AND your money (I had over $700 frozen) Its so not worth it hun.

I have a "vanilla" chip-in hosted on the chipin blog site that they provide, with a (innocent) picture of me talking about how I'm a college student but I really love photography, and I'd like assistance with buying some really professional photog equipment worth a ton. It's under a different name and is not linked to or placed on anywhere I work. I still get kind of stressed out when I use it just because I know how paypal can get, but I generally feel that since it's totally vanilla and can't be traced back to my website (i give the link out in e-mail or over skype at time of payment) I can't see how I'd get caught.

Like, when creating it I really put myself in the mindframe of someone who just wanted help to support their favorite hobby. I'd create the chip-in, use their blog service to host the widget, and it wouldn't be a big deal. So that's what I do. So far, so good.
