So what should I do? wait till I have the whole 4300 or put down a deposit to secure the surgery date, thus keeping me motivated? I think having a clear game plan will help keep me motivated if I know that things are gonna actually happen.
HELP!
wait till you have the full amount
put down the deposit

Are you going to need to save living expenses too? If so, wait a little longerIts motivating to have a day but imagine it came and you're not ready.
On the other hand setting mini-goals for yourself ($500 by this day, $500 by this day) might give you the motivation you want.

how much is the deposit? and how much do you have now? if the deposit is small, and you have a good amount of the money now, yes, put that deposit down.
I think having a date in your head can be really motivating. But unless you're sure you can get all the money in time, it might be scary and just cause too much pressure and stress.

Naw. You should wait til you have three or four grand because you're still going to have to come up with cushion money for when you're out of work.

Id wait... the time off really set me back even though I had the full amount saved and expenses for 6 weeks. Im still struggling because I lost all my savings. In the end it will be worth it to know that you have it all covered. If you are tempted to spend it put it in a savings account that you can only access via bank transfer.

Wait and save. You'll feel better and more secure. Keep in mind that things go wrong with plastic surgery and you never know when you're going to need an extra grand or two. Don't want the big date to sneak up on your before you're ready.
Have 2 months of spending money set aside along with the surgery costs before you book your date. You'll be glad you waited!
BTW: Can't wait to see pictures of you when you're all corset'ed up with your new boobs! Gunna be hot!

I'd set a goal to have half the amount liquid and in hand before doing deposit, but totally up to you!

y'all are gonna strangle me....I didn't read the post until now...I sent in 1g a few hours ago

Haha! Oh my. That's alright. I mean, as long as you can save up the money in time it's not big deal. Just save up as fast as you can while you'll still can, because you never know when you'll need that extra $20.
Yay boobies!
