I'm a Christian girl at heart, but I also dance. Some say I cant be both. But I try. Any other Christian strippers here?

Faith is a very personal thing, hon. Don't let other people define you. If you are okay with stripping and being a Christian, who is anyone else to tell you otherwise?
I agree with john No one can tell you what you are or not when it comes to your faith. If you believe then that is all that matters. No one on this earth has a heaven or hell to put you in (though some act like they do.) We all die alone so who cares what other ppl think?
I used to be very very strongly christian when I was in high school, but my religeous views have opened up and gotten a little bit more liberal since then. I'm on the fence as to whether I would still consider myselft christian or now more agnostic...there are many things that I appreciate about christianity but a lot of the times I get so upset with the way in which the message is delivered so to speak that I don't WANT to include myself in the christian group.
Like, how would everyone at your church act towards you if they knew you danced? I KNOW that the people at mine would never look at me the same, and would think terrible things about me, completely hippocrytical seeing as christianity really preaches the whole "sin is a sin is a sin" idea. Yet there is such a heirarchy of sins in the church, and everyone knows that. That, and I find that people that are so foccused on sinning really LOVE to point out everything that everyone else does wrong and skate over their own wrongdoings. That and some of the things that are classified as "forbidden" under christianity such as being homosexual, I don't agree with. It is a structure that, like I said likes to categorize things into bad, badder, and baddest, but then say that they are all equally bad. There are some flaws. The one reason that keeps my tied to it, just a bit, is that I was brought up Lutheran, and one of the key aspects of protestantism is every individual's right to interpret the bible how they want to.
Thanks for the responses. I never knew that about Protestantism allowing individuals to interpret the Bible as they want to. I would argue that such unbridled interpretation goes against the spirit and teachings of the original Reformers, who believed that the Bible was to be read and interpreted in light of both Church tradition and the community of faith. That is why all the mainline Protestant churches uphold the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds. Much of the very bad stuff that has arisen within or as a result of Protestantism is from the errant view that the Bible should be interpreted by the individual. A whole host of blasphemies and heresies, from the Branch Davidians to Mormonism to cults of every shape and color, have resulted from individual interpretations of the Bible that are not grounded in the history and tradition of the Church.

^ I agree with the above. Martin Luther was himself shocked and appalled by the effects of what he set in motion. He thought the Catholic church was corrupt (which it was, because human institutions tend to have elements of corruption - e.g., church leaders become seduced by power, greed and lust) and he wanted to create a new reformed Christian church.
He was very disillusioned, though, when his own followers started breaking into factions and forming new separate churches. Rather than the Reformation yielding one new reformed Christian church, the Christian peoples split into 2, 4, 8,... until today, we have over 20,000 Christian denominations, with divisiveness and animosity, and each one believing they are right, and every other Christian church is wrong.
I'm a Christian and I'm a customer. In the big scheme of things, the sins that go on in the SC are "little picadillos". Its mostly just "entertainment" with a tiny amount of sinful naughtiness (unless you get into "extras").
Jesus saves and God forgives. But, it is a personal choice you have to make and live with the consequences - What are your reasons for wanting to dance? Will your dancing hurt anyone - your husband? family? yourself? How long will you dance? Will dancing scar you emotionally? Will dancing separate you from your faith?

When i was in the club and asked about religion/faith (i was brought up in a religious family, went to a church school) all i would really say was "yes, i have my faith and beliefs, if god thinks its wrong on judgement day then ill ask for forgiveness, and basically (to the customer) take the plank out of your own eye before you try to take the splinter from mine" that kinda thing.![]()
''I love fake boobs''
''They're not fake! I grew them myself!''
I once saw a dancer in a club that had a tattoo of a cross with a quotation from the Psalms on her upper back...I have to admit it kinda freaked me out a bit. I actually wanted to speak to her about it but wasn't sure how to do it without being awkward.

Do you have any advice for the nerds on how to get girls?
Pro MMA/UFC/PRIDE/Strikeforce Fighter & Guido Phil Baroni:
"Do steroids, lift heavy weights, get contacts, go tanning. And stop playing all those gay fucking video games. You can’t get pussy in front of a TV playing games with your geeky friends. Go out to night clubs and bars, ...hit the beach. If you got money, floss. Whatever you do, don’t be yourself."

I had a girl dance for me who had the Serenity prayer (God grant me the serenity accept . . .) tattooed on her back in Italian. Her family was Sicilian.
I used to be heavy in christianity I was in choir, and an usher. Went to church almost every Sunday. Now I don't believe in religion,I believe in the Lord and what he stands for,and I don't need a religion to define that.
