A thread yesterday made me think about this question. A lot of you have said you want to cam forever, cam until you can't cam anymore..etc. I understand wanted to milk the industry until you can't anymore. I get that part but I got to thinking the other day. Do you have goals? dreams? outside of the adult industry or is the adult industry pretty much it for you? What are your long term goals? and when you get there would you still cam? I have always thought of camming and escorting as a crutch to get to where I want to be. I have said before that camming is not my dreamjob though I love it. My dreamjob is to run my own boutique and when I get there I would still escort here and there but not cam. With camming, we have our faces plastered everywhere but not with escorting and plus escorting is much more glamorous (to me). I am sure i have been copied and pasted, cut and cropped..etc as a camgirl but no need to give the sites more content of me. I understand a lot of people don't feel the same way...and that's ok.
It also came up yesterday that most camgirls don't save. Do you save? If not, why? If you do save, HOW do you save?
Disclaimer: Let's keep this one civil. This is not a flame thread

. To me camming is very stressful. I have never suffered from escort burnout but my cam burnout was BAD! Escorting made me very happy but I got a little too happy and all the sudden forgot everything I learned about saving money. This time around.. I'm going in with a plan!
And even when I'm a grandma I can still do pso, marketing cam sites, behind the scenes adult work, etc. if I don't want to cam or model anymore. I am in school right now for psychology and I hope to at least obtain a Master's in psych. I have an Associate degree right now and am in the Bachelors program. I want to be a therapist and help young girls with eating disorders, mental illness, and now I probably want to be an open-minded, sex=work-friendly therapist for adults, too. I can work for myself in psychology as well as adult work. The sky is the limit when we have dreams and work hard for them.
