    Default Phoenix License

Sorry if this has been covered already, but I went to get my phx dancer license today and some things have changed since the last time I was there.

Now licensing is on the 1st floor instead of 10th. Payment is done on the 6th floor instead of the 3rd. And the license is now good for ONE whole year instead of needing a new one every September.

So to recap... if you want to dance in Phoenix go to:

    License Services
    City Clerk Department
200 West Washington Street, 1st Floor
    Phoenix, AZ 85003

Sign in at the computer, wait for your name to be called. Fill out the stuff, they will call you again, take your picture and put everything in the computer.
Go to the 6th floor to make your payment. Go back to 1st floor, show your receipt and get your card.

    It is currently $28.00

Hey, Nina. Thanks so much for this. I am moving to Phoenix in about 2 weeks so I am going to have to do this soon. I am getting there the 7th. Are they open on Mondays or will I have to wait until Tuesday? I want to work at Christie's. Is that the best place in town? Where do you work in Phnx?

Yes they are open on Mondays, unless it is a holiday.
I don't have any experience working at Christie's- but it's known as one of the better clubs, so definitely some potential.
I used to work at Candy Store in 2007, I took time off to have a couple babies and am just getting back into it.. haven't decided yet which club to try. I am in great shape but just had a baby 2 months ago so I'm kind of lacking the confidence atm. lol

As for documents.. I only showed them my license.

Ok. Thanks, Nina. Do you know if it has to be an Arizona license?

Christie's "was" the best club in town circa 1999-2006...it has gone down the gutter. I worked there from 2002-2008.

Skin in Scottsdale and Bourbon St Circus are the two top clubs in town...er at least they have the strictest hiring standards.

My favorite club in the country is Babes in Scottsdale (hence, that's where I work when I am in town) Here is the info on the Scottsdale license

During golf season there are PLENTY of customers in the target demographic: middle aged millionaires from Canada and other Cold places....but the economy is based on tourism
