If I slap on SPF 110 sunblock, cover up when I go out ( I don't go out in the sun very often anyways) will I get pale eventually?
Has anyone ever tried this and succeeded?

For sure you will at least not get any darker and whatever tan you may have will fade. Look at pics of yourself from when you were a kid to know just how pale you are naturally. That's pretty much your set-point as far as untouched (by sun) skin you can achieve.
Skin lighteners can help too. I have freckles on my chest that I lighten because I try to be as pale as possible as well. Hydroquinone 4% will stop you from getting any darker if you do get sun exposure and will help to fade moles or freckles. Before I went for the ultra fair look I tanned for a summer and let me just say it took over a year for it to fade away.

Incidentally, I use a sunblock by Blue Lizard which has zinc and titanium dioxide. It makes me look like a Japanese kabuki girl if I don't rub it in well enough but it has really really cleared up my face since I started using it. Probably the zinc.

It definitely depends on your natural complexion. What is your ethnicity?
I have light blue eyes and naturally light blonde hair...and my skin is very fair. I wear 100 sunblock on my face and 70-85 on my body when I exercise outdoors. I do it to protect my skin from aging and cancer though...not to stay really pale.

^I'd say you'll probably still be able to get a bit lighter than you are.
You're fairly pale already... just have a dark 'tone'.
BUT. I've noticed in pictures that parts of you are a bit lighter than your face... so I'd say that YES, you can definitely get a little lighter than you currently are if you keep up your current routine.
Long sleeved shirts out in the sun, pants, sunblock, perhaps a handy lolita parasol? These things are all your friend.![]()
