Default Update: Delay in PP payments

Hi. Just an update for anyone getting paid by PP. We are verifying our new bank account with them and the process will take 2-3 working days. I estimate the 20th April.

You can alternatively switch to another payment option by here

    We currently recommend Alertpay.

All other payment methods are runnings as normal. Bank transfer, Payoneer and Alertpay.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused during this delay.

Update: Some accounts have been credited with my personal account. They will show "Youve got funds. DP" in the title of the email. This is to try and minimise any delay on large pending payments.

I got an email that I did not quite understand...Are you going to be doing away with Paypal all together?

Yes. An email list is currently being compiled to let all dp users know at the same time. PP was used when other methods didnt exist. Now we have Alertpay and Payoneer we no longer need PP. Some remaining pending payments will be made by PP shortly but we will no longer be using it for future payments.

We advise all users to switch payment methods by here

The US bank account is still being processed by our HSBC bank and will be the main payment option for nearly all US performers once complete.

Bank accounts have been applied for in numerous other countries to try and give the best payment methods available to all users.

The site is currently being updated aswell so the above link to change your payment options may re-direct you to the homepage in a few days of this post.

If anyone needs more info or help please feel free to contact us directly by ticket here

I am really confused. Are you saying you will be doing direct US bank transfers from now on?

That option isn't on the link yet.

I also have some outstanding money from AW that hasn't been paid through paypal yet.
What about the $ that I am earning right now? Is it in limbo until I sign up for something else?

So its early and I confuse easily, just to be clear there is not going to be Paypal as a payment method anymore? Okay, so then is Direct Deposit available for the United States? Or going to be available within the week, or at least have an estimated start date? Cause I dont have alertpay or payoneer and never intend to sign up with them, too many fees and complaints from customers. So I guess I am wondering, was it pointless to switch my SM account and sign up for DP since you killed the payment method I had, and dont have Direct Deposit yet?

Send me your username to check for pending paypal payments. They are being sent at the moment.

US bank application is in progress with HSBC and isnt available yet.

Paypal is stopping. We send nearly £10k worth of payments via paypal per day. Sooner or later they will stop the service themselves. Its better we do it rather than them.

We have no option but to take pp away from the service.

We will continue pp payments as long as possible to current members who are having trouble but this service must be stopped.

Getting a US bank account these days takes along time. Last estimate from bank was 2-3months, we are still providing paperwork to them.

We are making this change voluntarily before we are forced to.

    Thanks

    ok sent.

If there is no US transfer option... is the $ in limbo then? Should I quit working AW now if there's no way to get the $ out?

Like the previous poster, I have no intention of signing up with Alertpay or Payoneer due to past problems

I will update you tomorrow on a US bank transfer option. The bank is currently closed so I have no precise info on it at the moment.

    Hey guys,

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread, I just saw Payoneer mentioned a few times. A few of you mentioned that due to past issues/problems you are reluctant to use Payoneer, would it be possible to elaborate a bit?

You can PM me or e-mail me at [email protected], if you don't want to reply here, but I would be very interested in hearing your opinions and comments regarding Payoneer

    Thanks!

We will be starting the process of partnership with Payoneer tomorrow and will hopefully be setup asap with them.

Well I don't make tons so I cant/wont afford any fees to have money transfered to payoneer accounts or to my bank from a payoneer account(I'd just rather wait for a paper check its free.), If I have to go through some "Partner system" to get a card I find that shady, a legitimate company should have the authority and ability to issue cards to there customers without any third party nonsense. And on that last note I wont put my money in jeopardy due to the fact that I had to sign up for a card through someone other than the payment company. I have heard plenty about how the partner must make "X" amount of loads till you are allowed to get private loads, too many flaming hoops, not worth it in the long run. At least for me.

I'm absolutely fine with Payoneer for now. The fees don't bother me TOO much because honestly, Paypal takes hefty fees too. It seems like every payment option besides a regular check is going to take its fees, so whatever.

I'll be very excited once the partnership with Payoneer gets set up, as I'll be able to get my money instantly as soon as it's sent (as long as I'm willing to part with the $5 instant loading fee).

Just wondering, though... if we only make a couple dollars on one of the camming sites, will we still have to pay $3.75 or whatever the fee is, just to get it loaded on to Payoneer? Sometimes I'm on AW or SM just briefly enough to rack up a few dollars but nothing major. It would seem like a waste trying to transfer that money over if the fees are high.

Huh? The paypal debit card gives 1% cash back on purchases, the account itself gives you interest on your balance, and you can get a money order from your paypal debit card at walmart for a whopping .60
    ?!?!
    Yes, I'm real.

I'm in Canada, so unfortunately I can't sign up for a Paypal debit card.

When I get paid by Jenny in GBP, there is a significant fee and the conversion to CDN is not exactly "accurate" because PP uses their own wacky conversion charts.

So for example, I recently got paid £117.47, a £4.78 fee was taken out, leaving me with £112.69 which got converted into $171 CDN, about five dollars less than what the real conversion is supposed to be if you look up market rates. So overall I'm charged $10+ for that payment.

I know Payoneer is expensive but I'm hoping it's not worse than Paypal. But whatever, fees are gonna happen... if I hated them that much I'd simply deal with paper checks from all my sites and not be signed up with DP at all.

The minimum payment for Streamate is $20 so you have to make over that amount in a day and if not it carries over.

Current Payoneer fee is 3.75%, which is a min charge of $0.75. Paypal's fee is 3.4% + £0.20 GBP per transfer.

Alertpay is 2.50 % + £0.25 GBP with free transfers to your bank (For amounts £50+).

not really sure whats going on. payment finally cleared but says i wont receive it til the 22nd. I'm just wondering since everythings to resume back to normal on the 20th, today, will i get my daily payments from yesterday that were not included in the lump payment from the prior days. sorry, one more question. so there is no more paypal, if i stay with payoneer, do all payments go through this process of taking a day to clear then waiting an additional 2 more days to receive funds? thanks again, just hoping it all works out =)

Payoneer would be the best people to answer the first question sorry. From what I can tell their process is, Someone makes a pledge to load a card with $xx.xx (shows on your account as pending) then the processor approves this. 2 days later its added to your balance.

As payments are sent daily after 2 days they will start arriving daily to your account.

For the specific info on daily earnings to your account you will need to make a ticket here sorry so we arent discussing personal details in public.

    Thanks

Yeah, I logged into Payoneer, and it said I have an April 19th payment waiting for approval...ugh.

TODAY is the day I'm shopping for my son's birthday. Today's his last day of school before Easter break, so today is the best day for me to do the shopping. So I can use the money on my Payoneer card and money on my other MasterCard.

And someone hacked into my Walmart.com account and would've gotten away with spending $300+ of MY money, but luckily I didn't have enough funds on my PayPal MasterCard for that to happen. PayPal's sending me a new card while that card is closed. So right now any PayPal payments I received, I'll just have to transfer it to my bank's checking account (and that action takes 2 - 3 business days).
