Omfg that 1st paragraph is me. My prob is in my head I accidentally compare the two and miss the club (old days) so I found a ridiculous underlying hatred towards camming which is detrimental AF. Any help on trying to stop associating apples and oranges like this? I hope I made sense

I compare them too... when I'm at the club and it's dead I'm always debating if I should go home and work on cam. Cam money is more consistent for me- I know a general range of what I'll make per hour. With dancing, it could be dead all night but then maybe at the end I might get lucky and get a long private room. Or I might just be wasting my time and then I get mad that I didn't leave to work on cam. Lately I've lost motivation to go dance and mainly just go in when I have a regular lined up and then maybe another night or 2 here and there. I love that since I've been working on cam more, I'm drinking a lot less. I can't seem to go through a shift at the club without drinking.
Also on cam, guys come to me and I don't have to convince them to spend that much. At the club I'm always having to hustle hard and it's like pulling teeth sometimes. And being rejected in person is harder for me.
I'm grateful to be able to cam and I think I will be focusing more on my cam work and stripping less unless the clubs get better where I am. I do miss the old days when dancing money was more consistent and the guys seemed nicer. It was more fun back then. Maybe I've been dancing too long (since 2009) and I'm just over it.
