Default MFC makes my music get low?

When ever I log in there and I have music comming from my computer it makes it go super low, does anyone know why it does this and how I can make it not do this?

you're using Windows 7, right? go to the volume settings in the taskbar, and open them - scroll to where your music application is, and readjust the volume for that program. I think they have it do that for "convenience lol - now I just start my music after MFC is up

no its so weird...like it still shows the volume where I left it, and even if I start my music after I open it its still super low...

I use the EXACT same setup - double check the volume in the taskbar (by the clock in the lower right corner) again! when MFC starts up, the volume is (faintly) shown at the highest (loudest) level, but actually the slider is lower - double check your volume in iTunes as well - otherwise, I'm out of ideas!

Mine does it too. I'll have my music on at a good volume and then when my webcam starts my music goes down. If I'm "away" it goes back up.
Not sure why it does it, but it does. I've gotten used to it and actually didn't even think about it until you mentioned it!

I've seen girls do this. "Tip 200 tokens for me to turn the music down." Similar to "Tip 250 tokens for me to turn on the lights." Um, yeahhh, I'm sure the guys will get right on that...

Just leave itunes completely closed until AFTER you have your cam on and your room up and running. Then open up itunes and play your music.

I have to do this every time I open my room or else my music will be super-low, as you mentioned before.

I don't know what cam you're using, but with my Logitech software, I have to uncheck the "Right Sound" box, or my music will be super low.

I have/had the same problem. Your sound will be turned all the way up and when you start MFC you can barely here it.

What you want to do is go to the "Mixer" option when you click the little sound thing in the corner. This will allow you to control the sound for certain programs. I usually try to turn it up in there (the explorer one) if I'm using pandora or Itunes if I'm using that.

I also turn my MFC sound down. Because I know when I turn my sound all of the way up for louder music the annoying tip sound gets super loud too. So I have that turned down so tips aren't crazy loud.

Thanks Starxx! Ive been scared to play music on my laptop because I thought it would distort the sound for the guys since you have to turn everything way up. Duh! Open the mixer program! Why have I not thought of that? Also, for you ladies doing this...do you have your webcam moved away from the laptop speakers so it doesnt interfere with your microphone?

Ive been in some girls rooms and the music was really loud and everything sounded terrible. No one ever tells them either lol, so they have no idea they are scaring people off.
