    Default Lean Cusine Diet?

Has anyone lost weight from diet frozen meals? I want to lose 10 pounds but I really need to find a diet plan that is CHEAP and EASY.

I don't want to spend more than 60 dollars a week on food, and I need stuff that I can just pop in the oven or that doesnt take long to fix ( i don't use microwaves). I'm used to eating really good food, like legit restaurants on a daily basis and i hate stuff that tastes processed, includig most canned foods. Which healthy frozen meals actually taste good and dont have chicken that tastes rubbery/processed?

I tried the Lean Cuisine Thai Spring rolls and they were ok, certainly nothing special. The filling was kind of mushy :/ Is that how they all taste?

i would say lean cuisine is one of the better "diet" frozen foods, but nothing beats fresh food. i am a HORRIBLE cook but its easy to prepare yummy fast meals at home--i'm trying.

i will chop up red and green peppers and onions on a sunday and put it in a big plastic bag and use that to put on salads, in omelets, etc. i'll put a can of chickpeas, kidney beans, and diced tomatoes in a tupperware and put that in omelets, on salads, or in a wrap for "on the go". kashi go lean cereal is really good for you--lots of protein and fiber. that with chobani and some fresh fruit makes a great breakfast.

if i think of more things i will post them...

Try Amy's organics frozen meals. They taste good and are a 'better' frozen food. http://www.amyskitchen.com/

Kashi for breakfast is cheap and easy and tasty.

I've done that "diet" before, and combined with other healthy options (fresh stuff for breakfast and lunch), lots of water and exercise, it does work. If you're trying to lose weight by cutting calories, its very easy with those meals-- most have less than 400 calories.

Obviously eating 100 percent clean, organic, foods is better for you in the long run. BUT I did it to lose some of my baby weight. I didn't have the time or energy to shop for fresh stuff every other day and take a newborn with me. I didn't have the energy or time to cook from scratch. The lean cuisines are the best of the "diet" foods out there, although someone mentioned the Amy's brand- those are awesome too.

Try some out, see which ones you like. The diet can't really last longer than a couple months though, you will find 5 or 6 meals you like but you will get sick of them really fast!

I did the lean cuisine thing for a while, but I only ate the meals for lunch and/or dinner. I couldn't do the 3 meals a day thing...way too much processed stuff and the flavors get repetetive.

I second the Amy's frozen meals-they taste a lot better, even if they have a few more calories.

It did work while I did it, but when I stopped eating the frozen shit some of the weight came back since I no longer had pre-measured meals, so I learned to measure out all my food. I would suggest starting to measure whatever you do eat that is not pre-proportioned so you learn how to do it if you don't already.

    Good luck!

Trader Joes has yummy, affordable tv dinners, and I heard they are actually made by the Amys brand, and then labeled by Joe's
