It said 16 on my end. I guess if it was local than direct deposit would be free. Idk just saying.

From what I understand with a USA bank there is always a charge for this unless it is set up as an ACH transfer for direct deposit.
My bank charges $15 for wire transfers.
Chase has a person-to-person quickpay that is free, but that would not work for you since everyone would have to be using Chase.
I get free ACH daily transfers from Niteflirt. I'm not sure what it takes to set that up, but making it ACH is the key to have it go through free in the US.

Come to think of it I had transfers from other banks as a direct deposit. I think the thing had to be set up on their end though because I never had to pay anything. This is a mess too much thinking for me.

The trouble with using direct deposit for daily pay is that unlike a wire transfer, your bank may choose to not make the funds available for some standard period of time (usually measured in days). Different banks have drastically different rules; and different rules also apply based upon the payor. Many payroll companies receive special treatment so their funds become instantly available to the recipient.
I think the best method here would be for Jenny to pick one bank (the largest in the US) Bank of America. This would allow her to send funds for free to BoA customers and the funds would become instantly available. It is a less than ideal solution obviously.

Why don't you try to set up direct deposit for us through payoneer? I know that imlive has it.
Just to let you know Jenny in case you were wondering, I couldn't get the bank info I needed over the phone and now I'm on a trip but next week I'll try to get it to you if you still need a Canadian to experiment on.![]()

I found myself googling international payroll providers today...
Yes, I'm real.
