    Default Stupidity is a disease

    I'm convinced it's contagious too.

I find it incredible how some people simply can't see what's right in front of them. Literally can't see or comprehend something that to others of us, is simplistically obvious. I sure hope they find a cure soon.

yaah. to the point where you feel stupid trying to explain to them that what theyre looking for is literally RIGHT THERE and then they begin to argue with you.

Yep. It's irritating as hell. And epidemic.

There is drama here at SW, but also a lot of people who have their heads screwed on straight. It's a relief sometimes, to just read here.

NO offense but how is this relevant to the "Other Work" section?

    Good point though lol

Stupidity is relative to the situation.

Now common sense is another thing...

Sometimes when people are new, and I can only speak for myself...they do not know how to navigate the site, or have a lot of questions about the terminology, pay, etc in this business. Not everyone was born being a cam or pso girl.

I have asked questions and sent PM'S before, if chicks want to answer, they do, if not, fuck it.

I am from NYC, Army Vet, and am pursuing a degree in clinical psychology, so I am street smart, logistically and tactically smart (meaning I can blow a fucking head off and navigate my way around) and book smart....Just because some people ask a lot of questions on here does not make them stupid.

If I said that someone was stupid for not knowing how to disassemble, clean and reassemble an M16A2 in less than 5 minutes, that would be unfair of me...especially if they never did it before...and they didn't read the proverbial "how to" manual.

No offense taken. The topic seemed relevant to me related to the perception of sex work, among other things, and I was just venting a little. If it wasn't appropriate for me to do so here, I apologize and can shush up. There just aren't many places that I can speak freely and be understood like here.

No, that makes them smart! It's the asking lots of questions, being given the answers fifteen different ways on a silver platter, and still not getting it that's frustrating.

Sometimes when something appears so simple to us but not to others it sometimes means that it is us who have yet to fully grasp a problem's true complexity.... that.... or maybe what you said originally

Great advice. Now just replace the first us with "me" and the second us with "I" and you'll have posted something of value you might actually be respected for.

But I wasn't asking for advice. I was venting. Because I know the majority here already get it and share my frustration in dealing with people who don't, and apparently, can't.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Molecular biologists will find a cure someday, and while stupid people are an irritant, they're not terribly hard to deal with.

I understand that you are venting but there is no need to be nasty.

Maybe I am one of the dumb ones cause when I replace the words in that sentence I really don't know what you are getting at.

    I am a natural blonde.

    You're not dumb.

    Same concept applies to me.

The issue I raised is that some people just never seem to get it, no matter how many times something is explained to them.

Sure but being a Beta is so much more fun than being an Alpha. They work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever. I'm really awfuly glad I'm a Beta, because I don't work so hard.
