Default Camsite Employee Hitting On Me...

So idk what to do. I recently started working on a site that has been absolutely awesome so far. They have been actively driving traffic towards my room, i have a great conversion rate, and my earnings there are expected to increase exponentially. But I'm kind of concerned because I've been getting favoritism from my manager ( i.e. a higher hourly rate for free chat on top of tips and privates, special promotion, paid earlier than the other models, and he's even building me my own website! BUT while I know that he genuinely feels I have major potential to be a top camgirl with the right tools, I'm starting to feel slightly uncomfortable at his advances towards me. I don't even know what this guy looks like or how old he is, but I know he has arthritis and he has kids so he's probably old He calls me babe, sexy, etc which on it's own wouldn't bother me but when he makes specific comments about my body it just feels a little sketch. Plus, he asked me if I was single and let me know that he was lol.I foolishly told him I was... I'm not a very good liar lol. But the kicker is that he has mentioned me moving out there where he lives!! And I've been working there for less than a month! I would never move out there for a man who is a complete-ass stranger lmao, I'm still shocked he even said that. But... I REALLY want to keep working for this company bc the money-making potential is incredible. How do I let him know that I want to keep this strictly business without disappointing him/hurting him and losing all the benefits that I'm currently receiving by being a favorite? Please help!

Tread carefully. Hard decisions there Angel. He sounds like a total freak job but then again the monies good. Im hoping he doesnt have personal info like id with your address incase this becomes something abit more dangerous than him just being attracted to you. From what I have read above he's completely unprofessional so make sure your getting all your payments ok aswell. He may take rejection personally and stop your money.

No real advice from me, just be careful.

I wouldn't do anything rash or too quickly. Afterall, sounds like there are many miles between you and him. It's not likely he's going to show up at your front door.

I would gradually introduce references to your "boyfriend". Make him think that while you're "single", you're not entirely unencumbered. Then, don't return his "familiarity" quips, and begin to take the relationship to a formal tone... address him as "Sir", boss or ...? Anything, that gets the idea across that you view your relationship with him as "strictly business" and professional. Let him know... humorously, politely, kindly... you're not one of his fringe benefits.

omg that must be so flattering tho. I would prolly just stay quiet see what happens and if he asks you to move up there again just make up an excuse, you dont have the money or family issues but I myself would prolly be scared to straight up turn him down just becouse he is the manager and has control of your money that is until you have a back up plan for a job just incase he is an ass and freezes your account or something.

Well he does He has my i.d. and my real address and mentioned coming down here and stuff, yuck! And I don't even know this guy's name! Also, this is why I am extremely apprehensive about him building me a personal site, especially after reading what happened to MissEgo! I want to stay in control of my own brand, ya know? And not have some lovesick creeper haunting me if I don't do things "his way", professionally or romantically. This is some creepy Phantom of the Opera shit lol

Tough decision. Do you know if his boss would even care if you offerred him evidence of his employee's improper advances?

Be careful!! I don't really have any advice except try to distance yourself a bit. Be too busy working to chat, if you can! Or, at least pretend you are. And save your conversations.
Maybe make a bit of a passive aggressive comment along the lines of "Aww, if you keep saying things like that I'm going to have to start charging you! " Just to plant a this-is-my-job-not-a-relationship thought into his head.
And for the love of god please please please make sure if he does your website, everything is in your name, and the two of you have an exit plan for him to relinquish control of your site to you.

Favoritism in general is not professional or business like - so if you want to develop a strictly business relationship with him, you'll have to honor your discomfort & sacrifice the benefits that you want to maintain. Im not saying this will work since harassment dynamics isnt in the harassed control (that's kinda the point unfortunately), but Im trying to think of a way to give YOU advice.

Favoritism without sexual overtones (which I believe is what you're looking for?) is about mutual benefit still: he will want you to ultimately just work for him, will control your website, etc. If you want to work exclusively for the site and retain favoritism status and flirt from afar - OK, just weigh out pros/cons. Its a slippery slope either way, choose wisely.

    Suggestions that come to mind:
    1. Don't allow him to build your website. Say you want to figure this out on your own just so you have more control. Keep using words like "control", "learn", "businesswoman" over and over again, even if it is sandwiched in non-confrontational language. And to be blunt, I have yet to see an online 'friend' making a website for a sex worker "for free" ever work out well in the longterm.

    2. He doesn't have all the right tools, you do or at least you can, without him. He'll assume your business will be exclusive to his if he is overly involved in your overall business development (my understanding is that you work multiple sites, not just one?) - that won't... work to your benefit anyway unless his site has guaranteed longevity (difficult-to-impossible for most startup cam sites) . I don't know how you react to his flattery and advice - but if you reward him with gratitude: slowly stop. It can be casual rebuffs or "Hey, Im reading about SEO! Im so excited to really develop my brand" or use buzzwords along those lines to indicate you're working outside of him and continue doing this. Pat his ego each time if you're uncomfortable being direct. But however you decide to communicate, have your control of your business as your endgoal.

    3. Ask him to be paid on the same schedule/fair pay as the other girls - make it seem like "I wouldnt want to cause drama if anyone else finds out, you know? I am really lowkey". You are probably not his only favorite so this isn't a fake scenario as this is a high drama situation already. If he was strictly business/professional, this would not be a perk. This is kind of a big one. If you want to end that dependence and growing discomfort you're feeling - this is the most tangible thing you can do.

Sexual harassment sucks, especially in a non-office environment where you can't complain to HR. Men like that don't suddenly learn to have boundaries. You have to (try) create an iron wall of a boundary - it is possible but not foolproof. Power and money sucks that way, that's why this sh!t is usually against the law. But have a way out in case youre serious about this and it fails. Or be gradual and stealthy about basically training him to obey (The Dog Whisperer is the best show of all time). Sexual harassers are also fickle with their "favorites" when they get tired of them... so best to try to get control of as much as you can now so you're not like "wtf happened" when he is "on to the next one"... b/c he could change politely and just lose interest or suddenly lash out. Better to not have to wait and see

The domain registration should be done 100% by you, it is very easy. The hosting can be in whomever's name, doesn't matter - you just need the ftp information and to make frequent backups in case of emergency. As long as the domain is in your name, you can point it to different hosting, no problem. To preserve emails, always download to a program like iMail or Thunderbird for backups. If you have any more questions or I didn't cover anything well enough, please PM me!!!!!

So if you want to be with me

We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck

Besides maybe this time is different

Ugg that would so drive me crazy. What's the point of working for yourself if you have someone acting like they can push into your space as "THE BOSS". That guy sounds sick. I understand the pervy side but pushing into your room like that? I think the first few times I would have just thought nothing of it. But after that I think I would have said something like umm you're making me uncomfortable coming in here. I need to be refreshed and ready to make YOUR SITE money. Having "the boss" hang out in my room can become a problem if another model catches this.

Default Re: Camsite Employee Hitting On Me...

Welcome to the world of porn. This is the exact reason why most solo girl sites never make money or the model gets ripped off by the webmaster.

Fact is many men get into the porn industry think & act just like the fans do. He is only doing all of this to get into your panties. Money is a bonus to him.

I would NOT let him build you a solo site.

In 12 years of porn, I have heard this story 1000s of times. These guys live in a fantasy world where you will give up your home, kids, life to be with them. Sanity has nothing to do with it

One model had a "friend/webmaster/photographer" build her a site. They were strictly friends. A year down the road site is barely built. He ups and moves 6 states away. NOT only did he expect her to pay for flight to him to do the content on her own dime but he wanted sex. This is a man she swore up and down that they were friends for 6 years and would never pull such a stunt. I warned her all webmasters are generally wacked in the head and he would get bitter when she doesn't fuck him.

90% of men who do the tech stuff, sales, recruit, or whatever in porn do it to get pussy. Because they are such nerds in real life and can't get laid. That is their fantasy, to tell them that this is just business and no sex ruins their fantasy and they go NUTS at that point.

Sorry to hear about your problem.
CCBilling who does billing for sex websites also has templates to build out your own site. Highly suggest you do it all yourself. Finding an honest reliable good webmaster who knows how to do traffic and build out a site is almost impossible.\

    Good Luck,
    Sam
