    Default Cover my marks.......

OK, so the biggest issue I've had since I had my baby are my stretch marks. I have medium brown skin, and these marks are dark brown. They are on my stomach, thighs, butt, even the back of my knees. Like, what the hell?!!. I also have a mark with excess skin above my belly button where my ring used to be. Even with a little belly, I wouldn't be so self-conscious if I didn't have these marks. I used to love being naked before I got preggo, even did nude modeling. So, can you ladies please tell me what would be a good product to cover them until I find one that would lighten them? And, if there's already a thread on this, my apologies. Just send me a link. Thanks in advance!

If these are fresh stretchmarks, Id get going on a Vitamin E/Cocoa butter regimen asap to help them heal. To cover them up for work, my suggestion is Dermablend, but not the body cover, the creame one. I used the body cover for my tatttoo and though it covered okay (not an issue for you...tattoos are *hard* to cover) it smeared and didnt have the lasting power of the creme.

Since they are still fresh retin a to resurface the skin, flatten them and make them more uniform in color.
Thank Goodness I smartened up! The old me is dead and gone.

Ohh just an FYI for you then, Dermablend also has a tattoo cover which goes on before you use the creme cover, and that combo works verrry well. I have a faily large tat with thick solid black strokes, and even up close you cant see except that my tattoo has a 3D-ish effect so you can still see the shape of it. Still, youd have to know its there to even notice.

Ive also tried using yellow corrective concealer with foundation and that worked when I was in a bind. If my tat wasnt so big and solid black the concealer wouldve done the trick, and reg foundation wears off too fast. But it does work.

OK, cool. I really wanted to cover them in case I got back on cam. I have one on my arm that's kinda big, black and raised. I didn't think anything would cover that up. So, I'll definitely try that out.

Yup...Im guessing the solid black raises the skin like that...makes for a cool effect but not when Im trying to hide my tat! Ive used Dermablend while out in public and no one notices....for cam its fantastic. Something that I find makes a difference on cam is to powder the heck out of it when youre all done covering it up. Any amount of sheen gets picked up with the lighting and while it looks perfect in person, on cam the sheen makes the coverup noticable...so the powder is a def must.

Same reason I powder the heck out of my face for cam too...makes me look flawless. In person...holy cow Id scare someone if I had to answer the door looking like that LoL but for cam it works. Loose powder is best.
