Default 3 months in & some questions

So Ive been camming full time now (well, 4 days a week for a few hours lol), and am really enjoying it. I did do a bit too much my first couple of weeks and wore myself out/ got bored, but I seem to be back on an even keel now and I'm starting to think about getting serious about this.

I do well on one site, but i don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so have also joined MFC and SM. MFC I tried for the first time tonight and it bombed and my cam score went down. No tips, no one talked, and I logged off after 30 mins. I can't get the SM software/ stream to show me as online, so not done anything there yet. I was considering splitcamming all 3 sites, but now I'm wondering if I am better off concentrating on my main site, setting a schedule, putting more hours in, and learning how to get longer shows, promote for more new customers, and just generally give my all to it.

As my earnings have increased so dramatically while doing this as opposed to my old 9-5 job, I've started to up my outgoings too, to the point where I am about to take on a higher house rent, and a new horse (i already have 1). These things are major ongoing responsibilities, unlike the spray tans, fake nails, nights out, new clothes spending etc, which i can drop anytime if the money dries up. I am scared to take the plunge and put my money in these things in case my income dries up for reasons beyond my control. But on the other hand, it seems silly to be frugal when i know I can bring in more than DOUBLE these outgoings with things going as there are at present.

Did anyone else feel any of what I describe above, maybe still feel that way sometimes? Am I just clinging on to my "barely £1,100 a month" mentality, or should i listen to the guilty/ scared feeling and not take on too much?
How do you girls keep motivated to cam, and stick to a schedule?
Do you/ do you think I, should dedicate myself to my best site and give it 100%, or try to maximise my income through different sites/ maybe splitcamming?
Has anyone taken out health insurance (i think those of you in US have this anyway?), to protect you in case you can't cam through injury etc? Would you recommend it?
In your experience, and from your perspective, is camming a viable long-term source of *good* income? How long have you done it for?

I guess this is sort of like a "checking my progress" post Sorry for rambling, and thanks in advance xxxxxxxxx

Dont Split with MFC because its not the same as a PPM site.

As my earnings increase I wanted better so I after 4 months of convincing myself this money is ok for me I moved 1000 miles from friends and fam, got a bigger place, brought a car and super happy. I just make sure I work enough to keep my earnings between $4-5k monthly.

I would give it a little more time before you start taking on more financial responsibilities, just so you get a better sense of what you average per month. Camming is fairly stable in that you'll make something, but what that figure is can fluctuate a bit, so you just want to be sure you're not basing a lot of financial decisions on one or two good months.

yes you can and will continue to earn money doing this over the (reasonably) long term. (I'm still camming after 8 years) However, your earnings may actually go down a bit once you are no longer 'new' to camming and then may rise again after you have a fair bit of experience/regulars behind you.

My advice would be to stick with your main site on your tried and tested hours, and keep that as a strict schedule. Then, instead of split camming (since you are already busy on your main site), add in an hour or two on an alternative site. Play around with splitcamming that site if you like. See what the £ is like and then you can add more hours on that one if you feel that it is working better than your main site. That way you get an idea about whether the 'grass is greener' without losing anything on your main site (ie dropping regulars who expect you to be there certain hours).

I'd recommend you maybe try a US site AFTER you finish your shift on your main site because of the time difference.

I agree 100% with this. I just started doing an hr on MFC after I meet my goal on SM. I just figured it would make sense not to rely too heavily on one site for my income. This way I'm slowly building a following on MFC and in the event SM has site issues one day that I really need to make some money I know I can hop on MFC and make something.
