So Ive been camming full time now (well, 4 days a week for a few hours lol), and am really enjoying it. I did do a bit too much my first couple of weeks and wore myself out/ got bored, but I seem to be back on an even keel now and I'm starting to think about getting serious about this.
I do well on one site, but i don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so have also joined MFC and SM. MFC I tried for the first time tonight and it bombed and my cam score went down. No tips, no one talked, and I logged off after 30 mins. I can't get the SM software/ stream to show me as online, so not done anything there yet. I was considering splitcamming all 3 sites, but now I'm wondering if I am better off concentrating on my main site, setting a schedule, putting more hours in, and learning how to get longer shows, promote for more new customers, and just generally give my all to it.
As my earnings have increased so dramatically while doing this as opposed to my old 9-5 job, I've started to up my outgoings too, to the point where I am about to take on a higher house rent, and a new horse (i already have 1). These things are major ongoing responsibilities, unlike the spray tans, fake nails, nights out, new clothes spending etc, which i can drop anytime if the money dries up. I am scared to take the plunge and put my money in these things in case my income dries up for reasons beyond my control. But on the other hand, it seems silly to be frugal when i know I can bring in more than DOUBLE these outgoings with things going as there are at present.
Did anyone else feel any of what I describe above, maybe still feel that way sometimes? Am I just clinging on to my "barely £1,100 a month" mentality, or should i listen to the guilty/ scared feeling and not take on too much?
How do you girls keep motivated to cam, and stick to a schedule?
Do you/ do you think I, should dedicate myself to my best site and give it 100%, or try to maximise my income through different sites/ maybe splitcamming?
Has anyone taken out health insurance (i think those of you in US have this anyway?), to protect you in case you can't cam through injury etc? Would you recommend it?
In your experience, and from your perspective, is camming a viable long-term source of *good* income? How long have you done it for?
I guess this is sort of like a "checking my progress" postSorry for rambling, and thanks in advance
