    Default Streammates Catagory/Weight Catagory?

I'm a camgirl working on SM and I'm having trouble figuring out weight/categories.

    1. Does anyone know how to figure out how you are categorized on Streammates? I can't seem to find myself in any category when I'm online. I'm still new so I don't expect to be on the first page but I want to know how SM is marketing me. I tried to google myself to no avail.

    2. Also, my weight is 155lbs on SM and I'm categorized as husky, which is fine. Does anyone know what the weight categories are like or how guys might search for them on SM? I'm thinking about gaining some weight to push myself in the higher weight category, but I can't figure out where I am now and how much weight I would need to gain to be heavyset or curvy or bbw etc. Does SM admin decide what to categorize you as. I looked through some other girls weight vs. body type and they weren't consistent.

    Thanks ladies.

Silly! Don't gain weight just to be in the bbw category :o

I guess you are curvy? And I believe you categorize yourself.
Taking a break from all unproductive shit will prove to be the best choice you can make.

Go to edit ur profile and then click on 'build' to be in curvy, bbw, skinny, etc. But yes, you would be considered 'curvy', and I have noticed SM will put you in the right category after a while, because I see girls in the BBW category that can't weigh more than 130lbs. And I've seen where women have previously been in my category, haven't been big enough, and were moved to 'curvy/thick'

Oh, and don't gain any weight unless you are being paid for it. There's a fetish for that.

    Edit-
Guys usually use the search criteria on the sidebar. I think the categories are 'babes', petite, curvy and bbw..
BBW would be considered (in the BBW/FA community) as over 200lbs and SuperSizedBBW would be over (or very close to) 300lbs.. and if you actually want to gain weight like that, I would suggest making a video diary of your weight gain and use the videos as income for clips4sale.

I just joined SM and have been seeing a few threads about categorizing... So SM takes the info we give them to choose what category to put us in? I put 150 down as my weight but Im 5'10" which makes a difference.

I always put average down as my body type everywhere, because I dont think of myself as slim or slender, my butt is way to big for that and the rest of me is well...average. But I wonder, if they just take the numbers, then Im pretty sure would end up in the wrong category....

Don't quote me on that blksharpie- I'm not sure how they make their decisions, or if they notify you they are switching your category? Or if the girls realize they are in the wrong category and change it themselves.. ? But I have surely seen girls that do not belong in the BBW category that have been moved to other categories- but I see BBWs in the curvy and mature categories, that are not listed as BBWs.. so I have no idea how they figure their categories. I imagine the best route would be to allow the women to pick their categories.. so yea, I'm not positive who is switching the categories, the women themselves or streamate.

A part of me wonders if she actually meant adding extra lbs into the system to be bumped up into the next category, not physically gaining weight...maybe?

I just checked my profile; I put myself as "a few extra pounds" and Streammates euphemism for that is "husky" apparently. lol

I don't see gaining weight as a bad thing. I look better with more meat on my bones as one might say, as I really have two options with my apple body type. Loose all the weight and work really hard to keep it off, or gain a little weight to even out my stomach by adding weight to my ass, thighs, arms, etc.

It concerns me to think that gaining weight is "just not worth it" as it kind of implies that there is something wrong with being anything but thin. H0ttie, I'm not attacking you, but there is a post about camgirls loosing weight (re: 30 day fitness challenge). Don't get me wrong, I think getting fit and healthy is a great thing, but the only option is not always to loose weight. Perfect isn't just 5'10" 115lbs as one girl said on this board: there is someone for everyone.

So far I've had no complaints about my body at all. Exactly the opposite. And I want to increase my earning potential, so I am going to gain at least about 10lbs. I go to the gym 6 days a week and if I look better and make more money at 165lbs than at 135lbs (which I've been) then I'm going for it. I simply can't compete with girls that are naturally slimmer or work out really hard/eat right as my body type just doesn't look right like that.

What I'm trying to say (in a rather long winded way) is that there's nothing wrong with being realistic about your body and body type, and you don't have to fit into the category that you wish you were in order to earn money.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this thread, I really appreciate it.

Just a note from the peanut gallery... Im 5'10" and I havnt been 115lbs since I was 12 (I was already about 5'8" by then)...and I wouldve made kate moss look like Marylin Monroe lol

I know what youre saying though. My real weight isnt even 155, but no one believes I weigh more than that. Even at 200lbs people called me slender.... I dont see that at all seeing how I had a 42"ass, but I guess its a perception thing. For sure though I know I have about a 30lb leeway that I look pretty good in either way.

If you work out and fit, and when you gain weight it all goes to the right places for you, then yeah, do whats right for you. Hotness comes in all sizes

if you wanna lose weight great, if you wanna gain weight fine...all i'm saying is its not worth changing your body size either way just to fit a category on streamate.
