Default what do you really think of customers?

i'm in my early 20s, single and i meet alot of guys like most of us. i don't bring up dancing to quick. i've noticed guys either get really happy (sugar momma /hot chic) or they get really disgusted. recently i've been meeting guys who enjoy going out to strip clubs and i sorta have a problem with that. i don't care about him looking at naked women, but my mind starts to question things. i start wondering if he's really a good man? is he a trick? does he just buy girls stuff? is he a john... ? so many things come to mind. maybe i'm being to harsh? i understand men are men but i feel like if a man is truly ready to settle down that he wouldn't be up in the club. then to i start to wonder what type of man truly enjoys going to watch girls and get taken advantage of. most dancers aren't giving up anything unless the feel its going to benefit them in some way.. so that leaves him only to be a sucker or he pays for ass. now once in awhile with the boys is ok i guess.. but if its a regular thing that they do... i feel like we aren't on the same level mentally.

Did it ever occur to you that he might be just a great dance buying customer. He might be the guy who comes in once week or bi weekly with his buds and tips, drinks and buys 2 or 3 dances. He doesn't automatically have to be one of the gross extra buyers or pls or white knights constantly in the club. Remember, that a percentage of our customers are regular dudes with no ulterior motive. The guys who aren't, meaning the extras only guys, mean guys, asshole guys, are a percentage also. It takes all kinds of customers to make up 100% of the business that we get. The gross guys are just more memorable. Don't knock these guys because they like going to strip clubs. What if every guy you meet stereotypes you because of what you do?

I always looked at it as a fantasy and most men were there for the fantasy. So for me in most cases it was strictly I was giving them something (the pleasure of my company and the admiration of my body) in return for something (money). Because of this I mostly have always felt a separation of my real self and my dancing self.

So you, as a stripper, are uncomfortable with men that you like going to a strip club? This would be like dating say... an assassin and being uncomfortable with the fact that he klls people.

I have zero problem with men who go to strip clubs, either as a dancer or as a girlfriend. I will be genuinely disappointed if my fiancee doesn't go to a strip club for his bachelor party. As long as he isn't going every day and blowing all his money there, and as long as he isn't getting extras, I honestly don't care. You must really hate stripping if you think men who go to strip clubs have something wrong with them and are just there to objectify the dancers, or are complete idiots being taken for a ride. I would think that as a worker in this industry, you would know better. To tell the truth, 95% of my customers were completely normal, respectful guys who tipped at least average, and who understood that they were tipping for time and for dances, same as you tip a waitress at a restaurant. It's a service, simple as that. Sure, you get your needy PL's sometimes, and sometimes you get the young, drunk, party guys who are there to demean the dancers as much as they can, but they aren't the majority of the clientele. If they are, time to find a new club.

I guess I never really got the dancers who held all customers in contempt. Either the guy was a lousy tipper/grabby customer and therefore a douchebag, or he was a good tipper and nice guy and therefore a moronic loser that she would take for all he's worth. There is a grey area, and it encompasses the majority of customers I've experienced. This job hasn't made me hate men or customers.

Depends most of the time I do think of them as customers & don't put much thought into who they are beyond what kind of customer that person is based on how they treated me/how much they spent/how much work it was on my part, but there are those I personally like & others I can't stand becuz after all they are people.

Lately I have been enjoying the hot bi curious girls & really cute younger pretty boys that have been coming in so I have been feeling like a real pervert just wanting to corrupt them & take them home to keep as personal sextoys.

Most custies though gross me out seriously especially those who are rude, smelly, creep, ill mannered, sloppy, obsess, or simply pain in the asses. I totally would never have anything to do with them if I wasn't paid to .

maybe its just me though but damn near 95% of custies i've met from hostessing in hostess bars and in strip clubs have all had alterior motives. the guys that i meet away from club arena that mention going to strip clubs all happen to be the same type of guys. here we have massage parlors and they are all very close to the strip clubs and hostess bars, so alot of our customers are massage parlor patrons. the massage parlors are just cover up business for whore houses. hawaii has a very large sex industry that most people know about but somehow it gets over looked. i met a young miltary guy who i decided to give a chance (i never give young guys a chance i prefer older men) and he talks about how he an his friends paid to get one of his friends laid. that sounds like total bulshit to me. so i point blank asked him you paid to fuck and he kinda looked at me and what like no way... i'd never do that... thas a waste of money. i think i saw him once after that and we were done. maybe i'm just meeting bad men but i just don't like it and i make no bones. i know another girl who shes a hostess and her bf goes to her bar where she works when shes not there and spends money on other girls there. shit no way in hell. i don't even want my man coming to my bar of work. he wants to go out to a bar fine by all means go but i don't feel right about him pumping money into a place that i'm bringing it out of and spending it on my co-workers.... no sorry i'm not the one( he also pays some of her other co--workers for extras). now on the flip side i did meet a guy who was having a bachelor party and he was truly a good man. his boys were "tryin to get him to enjoy his last night of being free" and he was just so sweet and so in love he was like no i'm good. i told him that he girlfriend was one of the luckest women because not only was he good looking, he was a good man, and he had $. thas a total package and i honestly respected him for that.

Yeah, that doesnt pay my bills. I can find plenty of ppl to "respect" outside the club. inside the club its not abt that.. and sometimes guys go to stripclubs with their buddies just for fun. Are you better being there as a dancer or wtv you do? (probably a little lol) but you know what I mean.. we both need each other and ones not better than the other (well I mean obviously the dancers are better.. hahaha)

Its just entertainment to me so I dont see a problem with guys going to clubs. If they are going all the time then ya Id be annoyed but I dont let my man tell me how Im gonna spend my money so I dont dictate how he spends his.

wtv? i don't think that i'm better than them no.. they make us who we are. they allow us to live lavishly, pay for school etc and i appreciate it. but i will say this.. from hanging around my pimp friends i have learned to keep my mind somewhat elevated when it comes to them. if they want it they pay. like i think of them as your in my space of business bus open that wallet and lets make this happen.

I hate men at clubs doing bachelor parties because they normally don't spend a lot (at least in my case). However, years ago I did a party like this where the guy was so in love with his bride. He didn't even want a bachelor party he did it for his friends. I told him his wife was a lucky lady.

kellydancer: ur right, most men throw bachelor don't seem to honestly have money to spend. it always seems sorta like a lets just do it type of thing. then when they come they try to get a bargain on everything. i hate that... i'm like ok you want him to have good time spend some money and stop complaining about the bottle prices.

It's why I rarely had anything to do with bachelor parties at clubs. My experience has been that guys with money to spend throw parties, those with little go to clubs. Many dancers don't know this until they've been dancing awhile.
