I pretty new to the game, and I'm still trying to find my way around certain things.
In my town, the summer is the absolute worst time to try to earn money (this also goes for bars, restaurants, hotels, etc.). There is a club here that does relativley good business during the summer (they have a more local crowd), and I would really like to work there. The problems is that this place is sort of known for high-mileage dances. I know that not every dancer is willing to give extras in VIP, but I also know that a good portion of them are.
My question: how do I gently inform the customer that I'll give him one hell of a hot dance, but that's all he's getting from me. I can't figure out the best approach: I don't want to be defensive or insulting, because I want him to keep spending. I don't want to bring it up in my hustle, because that's obvs a bad business strategy. But if I wait until he tries to make a move in that direction, I feel like the power dynamic has shifted and I'm in the position of having to defend myself.
I'm sorry if this has been done to death; I'm new here. I have been reading the forums, but there's a lot of material to wade through. I would love to hear from dancers who have been in this kind of situation. Thanks!
