She fits the part very wellI like how Prince William kept smirking or smiling... It wasn't as stuffy as Princess Di and Prince Edward's(?) wedding... this was more 21st century.. I enjoyed watching it

Looks like poor Prince Will is going bald early though![]()

Very pretty dress. That's the kind of dress I want when (Not if, I am going to be optimistic) I marry. I want a train about that length because it's long but not as long as Princess Diana's (which was way too long).
This seems like a love match, which makes it nicer. Hopefully they'll be happier than his parents.

When I woke up it was on but i did really watch it that much, I been down my local bar today for royal cocktails lol.
xoxo
This made me realize I want to get married in Church with the proper orthodox tradtions.
I got teary the way they both walked towards the carriage and the ride through. The way they look at each other, smiled, how he kept on looking at her seeing whether she was ok, her looking at him seeing whether he was ok. You could tell he was so nervous not to step on his dress!!! I give them lots of props on how they acted so proper and mannered with billions of people watching them, cameras all over and they did everything so perfectly. I hope they get to destress at their party away from everyone!
I watched it and thought it was beautiful. You could tell he was nervous and I thought that was so sweet. And he seems very attentive and protective of her. So sweet. Personally, I thought Harry looked hot!
I stayed up all night to watch it with my sister, it was so beautiful! You can tell they really love and care for one another, so sweet!

It was lovely. I really loved Kate's dress - all that lace was beautiful. It's interesting that after Di's wedding everyone tried to copy her and everyone wanted that "Royal Wedding" look with the large bouquets, trains, poufy dresses, etc. I wonder if this wedding will spur the same kind of reaction, even if she's not technically holding the title of Princess.
She seems like a really sweet, smart girl, and I hope they are happy together forever. Older too, not so young like Princess Di, which is good. She knows more about what she's getting into.

I saw a designer on tv who does knock off dresses and he said he's got orders for this dress already. Personally, I am hoping this style becomes the wedding dress trend because to be honest, so many of today's wedding gowns look trashy. I'm always seeing brides wearing dresses that look like what one would wear at nightclubs, not wedding gowns. Not to mention that I personally hate sleeveless dresses and think only a small percentage of women can pull them off (mainly young in shape in women).

^ I'm with you. I wish more brides would choose more elegant, better fitted dresses. I see so many brides who wear dresses that just don't fit them properly - no matter the size.
The thing I fear is this: lace isn't easy to work with, and a desiger has to know what they're doing to make it look tasteful; not just throw a bunch of lace on a white prom dress. I'm scared that next wedding season the only lace dresses you'll be able to get will be....not so tasteful.
I remember when Ball Gowns came back in style. The first year they looked beautiful, then they started looking cheap, like tackier and tackier. I don't want to say anything too negative, because ALL brides with that 'Wedding Glow" look beautiful on their big day, but it doesn't always translate well in pictures.

The wedding was beautiful.
I watched it all and loved it!

I'll bet that owners of designer hat shops in London had a record week in sales.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade... then find someone whose life gave them vodka, and have a party.

I lurk on a wedding site (I am obsessed with getting married) and women often post their wedding photos. Many of the brides look awful (yes I went there, lol) in their gowns. Way too many women just chose a style they like even though it doesn't translate to their bodytype. I know for me personally I can't pull off the sleeveless look that's been popular. While my arms are toned I am 40 and I would look silly in the style. Women who are overweight look even heavier in the style. I do think that overlaced gowns might be an issue and that will make some dresses too bulky I think. Kate Middleton is tall and thin so she can pull off many styles but petite women or heavier women (or petite and heavy) can't pull it off as much. I'm neither heavy nor petite but at my age I can't pull off too much lace either I don't think. I think I'd look good in this style but don't think all women would. I honestly think too many women just go to a bridal shop and pick something off the rack. The better idea is to go to a store with a bridal consultant. yes they may pay a little more, but then they won't look back 10 years and say "boy do I look awful".

Beautiful wedding. I noticed he's balding, too.
& apparently she did her makeup herself..why?
I purposely missed the wedding, but saw some of the pics that were posted online, but only because they're everywhere. It wasn't by choice. I'm really not that interested in all of this, but I think they make a great pair and wish them the best.

I love that phrase. I don't know if it's so much a problem with older brides (I would hope they would know what works) but younger, heavier brides. Then again I am reminded of my brother and sister in law's wedding where the mother of a close friend of theirs dressed like a skank at age 50 or so.
^ Wow thats crazy..
that's the royals, manhole covers were opened and searched before the wedding just to check everything was in order, i also cannot believe people have fallen for the idea that harry decorated their car!, a team of advisors woud have decided and organised that!
i was working in london, my club had to close early, we al had to wait in a nearby casino.

I stayed u all night to watch it like and BAWLED my eyes out!

Ooh I love REAL love especially when it's between a beautiful couple. I don't care that the Princes is balding. I'm still in love with him and his wife. I got up at 4am to watch it all btw. Yeah.. LOL!

Yeah for me it ended at 5am so I didn't get to sleep until 6 in the morning. But it was soooo worth it
