I'll be there this week too! This thread was extremely helpful
Girl!
THANK YOU. I am traveling from Portland to Vegas during summer break and I've never been there before, so your insider club guide was invaluable. And entertaining! Who the fuck needs to "wear two thongs?!?!" What a creep. Reminds me of the manager at Spyce in PDX who just straight up walked me into his office, closed the door behind us, and said "I'll need to see your boobs and your butt."
Anyway, thanks. I'll probably PM a bunch of you Vegas ladies before I come down. Good to make some connections since I am coming alone.
Cheers!

Ps, How much does it suck in summer there? I'm in college and can only travel in summer, so I don't have a choice anyway... but can you give a ballpark of how much girls make on average in June/July?
Thanks

Hi comet, I am here visiting from Portland right now, as you can see from my previous posts I had no luck getting hired at the bigger clubs, Sapphire and OG are not doing auditions at all right now and the others either didnt like my blue streaked hair/tattoos, or said I needed to lose weight.
That being said I have been working at Play it Again Sam's, a locals joint that isnt too divey, and have been averaging about $200/shift, HUSTLING hard. This is about what I make in Portland, but I'm not disappointed because I have had a fun trip, gotten a tan, and made new friends, gotten a sense of what dancing here is like, and have my licence/paperwork all taken care of.
I plan on coming back in the winter when the clubs are less saturated with girls and I have had time to lose another 10 lbs or so.
I actually have been making more at Sam's than my friend is making at Hustler, simply because they have too many girls on staff at Hustler, and Sam's girls are not the hottest, so I stand out a lot more haha.
This thread has a lot of good info as well about what to expect:
ETA: the whole two thong thing....um yeah you really do need to wear them, esp if you are an aggressive stage dancer like me, I am used to dancing full nude so I never really thought about it, but my first night I just had one on, I got off the pole and it was a little "bunched up", I adjusted it really quickly while I was doing spread eagle floorwork in front of a customer sitting with another dancer at the rack....OOPS!
I got off stage and they had their mouths hanging open, he was like, "I REALLY like those panties!!" I said "huh?" They both started giggling, and she explained that I was totally exposed, and when I tried to "adjust myself" I just ended up flashing the whole package.....I didnt really care bc I am used to full nude but it got a BIG reaction....I was like OK I need to go put a second pair of panties on and keep it that way now!!
Oh yeah but the manager who told mediocrity he "needed to see her labia" to figure out if she needs two thongs....GROSS GROSS CREEPY YUCK.

Ladies, this is very useful info! I will be in Vegas for the first time June 2-7. I plan to try Sapphire, Treasures, Hustler, and Cheetahs...in that order. Just to clarify...does one scope work for any club? And you get it at the same location you get the sheriff's card?

Hello Trishaxxxo,
My friend and I are going to Vegas nxt week, and found your postings very helpful.
Based on them, we are shooting for Hustler, Treasures and CH3.
Were you able to audition at CH3? How did it go???
Also, I am thinking to stop by at Play It Again Sam's hoping to get hired right away. This club seems less "complicated" and we need to get our sheriff's card and BL going.
Will you be in LV next week?
I'm back in oregon now. never auditioned at CH3 just used them to get my referral, they handed it to me at the door without any fuss, so stop by there to speed up your sheriffs card, your BL you can get online. Sam's is good to pick up a shift right away.
go to your auditions on a weeknight, part of my mistake was going around on fri and sat nights (purely because of when i got into town, I wanted to work right away and didnt think about it), I made a friend who works at Treasures and she said I would have been hired if I went in on a mon or tues night instead of fri night. at that point i was headed home soon and was happy at Sam's so I didnt give it another shot. LOL she also said the weekend manager I met with has told her directly he doesn't hire any girls without fake breasts
good luck!

All of this info has been most illuminating! I traveled to Vegas for the fist time a couple weeks ago and did very well at Sapphire...I found that the Vegas slow season offered me more than twice as much income as I am accustomed to at Rick's Cabraret (DFW) or Spearmint Rhino (Dallas). I will be back at the end of this month, and then once or twice a month after that.
Again, a big thank you to all the people who wrote such detailed info on Vegas!

Hello!
I am going back to Vegas this week to work during the conventions, and see how "worth it" it is..... Well, it gotta be better than my LA club right now. They changed the house fees and LD setup and it's been sucking for me.
I will be checking out Treasures tomorrow night. I already got hired at CH3 and Club Paradise.
Thank you for all the gr8 info<))) Going back again for the 4th of July, and planning another couple of trips mid Jul and Labor Day... Might as well. since I am still full time jobless lol,., and enjoying it![]()
You have to factor in the fact that you have to pay for travel, hotel, transportation in town, up-front house fees/other tipout costs, and food. Of course my advise is a little late for this thread, so you may have already found this out. I live about 2 1/2 hours outside of vegas and I drive, so I dont even pay for flight- just gas. And I find that I still have to make at least $200/night to break even. Some nights that seems impossible, and I'm damn good looking! lol You have to be able to be patient with Vegas sometimes because it can get in your head and turn your great start to the week sour really fast just because you aren't making money. My diagnosis- treat a work trip to vegas (or anywhere) as if it were a vacation and plan your hotel, flight, trans, food, and spending money like you won't get it back- because sometimes that might be the case =(.
$1000+ Nights here, however are possible. I've made that in early November, and would say I prefer to work October- November, then January-March. That's when the money is easier. Other months, you may have to work hard or just cut your losses and wait for the next season.
Best of luck to all of you!
