    Default GRR...

I made the (big) mistake of seeing if I could find some reviews of me online. I don't work very often so it didn't surprise me that I had like a tenth of the reviews that other girls did, but what caught me off guard was some guy telling me that my face looked better FROM A DISTANCE. WTF?!

This was a pretty serious blow to my confidence, I'm ashamed to say. Never mind the fact that I've had some really awesome and attractive customers who thought I was the coolest thing since sliced bread -- it's like all of the good stuff means nothing if just one random stripclub junkie who didn't even buy a dance says something critical.

Anyways, I just needed to vent. I remember my house mom said to never let anything the custies said get to my head, whether they were good or bad, and I'm definitely going to take her words to heart.

But MAN. This just about ruined my afternoon. I've just gotta get over it so that it doesn't ruin the rest of my night.

(Also, I'm never ever reading about myself online again).

I read reviews about myself pretty regularly, while they are usually good, there is the occasional one that will absolutely ruin my self esteem from time to time. The best advice I can give you is to take the good and leave the bad, Im sorry they said this, sometimes people say stuff like that out of anger that you aren't an extras girl, didnt let them finger you in VIP (oh the horror!!!) or other such stupid shit. Im sorry darlin

A guy once told me that I look better close up then far away. Uh, okay, thanks was my response. Just keep it moving and don't let these comments phase you. Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody's got one and what they say should never define you, take you off your A game, or ruin your confidence. Best of luck!

I thought patrons could review clubs on TUSCL and the like, but not individual dancers. *sigh* I think it's pretty pathetic for a guy to a: pick apart a womans looks and b: post their meaningless opinion of a woman's looks online. It's usually fat, bald, ugly mofos who do that. Attractive people don't have the free time to be concerned with someone else's looks.

What website do you guys look at for reviews? I'm in NYC so I doubt I personally will be on anything because there are just so many people here but now I'm curious! I'd also like to check out my clubs reviews.

You've just got to remember that most of these guys who are so cavalier about rating girls as a 5 or 6 or whatever, would never make it even that high if we were to honestly "rate" them in terms of what we are actually attracted to. They are paying for the illusion that someone way more attractive than they could ever get in real life is, at least for the length of a couple songs, into them. Part of that illusion is the ability to get online and act as though they would be willing to reject one of us. We treat them like they are hot shit because that's what they pay us for. We shouldn't be surprised when it goes to their heads.

    Which website?

The men that go to clubs are a little screwed anyways, they have their own issues they need to deal with but instead of worrying about themselves they find more pride and happiness in bashing others. These men are pigs anyways, so should it really matter? I've been called many horrible names-cried about it then moved on after I realized that I am beautiful, a nice person, intelligent, and friendly. Do the same!!! They dont deserve the wasted energy you are giving them!!

I've had guys comment on how slim i am. Before i used to let it get to me because it was my main insecurity. It would ruin my mood therefore hinder my hustle. Just the other night, I had one guy say "wow you're really skinny." I said, "yes I am and I still make great money!" The cheapskate chuckled and slipped me $2. Comments like that don't bother me anymore because I see it like this: they're speaking to my "character" in the club (assuming we all have stage names) rather than the "real" me. I've managed to block out much of the derogatory and perverted remarks by reminding myself of this. Knowing that this industry, over time, can take a toll on our mental well being, thinking like this has helped my sanity in and out of the club.

Thanks a bunch, ladies. It really means a lot.

I don't know whether or not to post the website since I want to spare you guys any needless and stupid anxiety, but if you're really curious you can PM me and I'll let you know (I figure if you're that curious, the least I can do it oblige). I do believe the reviews are only for California clubs though.
