    Arrow Feature dancing agencies...q....

I know he main 4 are Pure, Continental, A-List, and Lee Network.

Anyone work with any of these or have experience with them?

Any of them have better management working there then others?

I'd wouldn't even mind working with 2 or 3 of them, so that I can have fairly steady bookings.

Questions on how to submit myself to them:
Do they just want you to e-mail photos? Should I call them?

Any help or advice would be amazing!! Thank you so much in advance!!

*And yes i did a "search" for feature dancing, etc and of course I couldn't find anything, so if anyone know of an identical thread, sorry about that! Please point me to it Thank you!
    XoXo

i have worked with nakita through traveling entertainers...i think her husband owns a-list. i had bad experiences with nakita, as did a few other girls from this forum. however, i believe that her husband runs the best feature agency out there.

why are you looking into featuring? do you have any reason for clubs to pay you to feature? you need to have some credentials to feature... i.e. you have to win pageants, or do porn, or be a reality tv star, or be in playboy or penthouse etc etc. clubs arent going to pay you to feature unless you will help bring in customers.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Thanks for the input! I've heard bad reviews on working with nakita also, so I think I'll pass on all that.

My feature friend that has been featuring for 6 years, said she just obtained credits as she went, that I didn't need something right off the bat, that I will get them....?.....

    Is this your experience too?

ive never featured... traveling entertainers sends house girls to clubs and you get free accomodations etc. etc. you dont actually get paid.

when featuring the club pays you to be there in hopes that you will bring in more customers.

a list isnt run by nakita though, it is run by her husband. i wouldnt recommend doing traveling entertainers, but if you are actually going to feature it is probably the way to go . PM kylea2 about featuring, she is much more knowledgeable than i am on the matter. but i think if you start without credits you will barely be making anything. like i said, the club pays you to be there if you can bring in customers. advertising a playboy centerfold or rock of love girl or a well known porn star will bring customers to the club. so you have to ask yourself are you well enough known to bring customers to a club?

Very nice input and thoughts here.....

Yes, I will message her, thank you

I thought starting featuring with no credits sounded kinda fishy BUT I supposed you could aquire them as you go, so I didn't really know.

Anyhow, thanks so much for all your advice! It's great!

Ok, now here is another thing I realized....I was talking to a girl who start featuring next month. She is doing all her OWN BOOKINGS, and she is not using any of the agencies at all.

Which I found kinda smart in a way.....does anyone do this? I thought the agencies would be the ones who get you out there and get you work.

How would a girl get herself booked? Maybe this is the way to go....???

She told me there is no need for agents, etc, and that I should just do my own gigs. LOL!

    Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

are you sure she is featuring and not just traveling as a house dancer?

feature means the club pays her to be there. unless she is well known, not many clubs are going to pay a girl to be at work. especially if she doesnt have an agent to hype up what little fame she may have.

Its easier to travel as a house dancer. They do have seminars and schools at the agencies but youre not going to get the good paying gigs until you have a reason for a club to hire you!

When continental was run by it's founder and later by her son and his wife it was excellent. I haven't worked for continental since it fell under new management ... however I have heard a few things from feature girls who are still actively working.

In regard to becoming a feature, from a basic economic standpoint what clubowners are paying for is a girl with a public 'persona' that they can promote in local media to increase club customers. 'Credits' are almost indispensible in this regard. I'm talking about a Playboy / Penthouse appearance photo credit, XXX video boxcover credit, miss nude ___ , ___ of the year, reality TV or TV talk show appearance credits, etc. To a lesser degree, unique physical attributes can act as 'credits' i.e. being a 6'2" classic showgirl, a female bodybuilder, being less than 3 feet tall, having a cup size in the second half of the alphabet, etc.

It is possible for girls who don't have such publicizeable credits to still work as feature dancers. However, the feature fees will be far lower since clubowners cannot count on the creditless feature attracting a large number of additional club customers. And indeed the overall earnings potential of a creditless feature dancer is likely to be similar to that of a travelling house dancer ( after subtracting an agency cut which the travelling house dancer doesn't have to pay).

Also, while bringing this subject up always causes controversy, with today's poor economic conditions having negatively affected feature fees, these days a number of feature dancers aren't actually earning the majority of their money from club feature appearances. Instead they are using club feature bookings as a tax deduction and a means of 'absorbing' travel and accomodation expenses travelling to different large cities. The serious earnings potential actually comes from OTC 'private session' advance bookings with 'fans' in between stage performances ...

One can only assume that at a cost of $1500+ per HOUR, 'fans' are expecting to receive significantly more than a private lap dance and some friendly discussion ! I would also add the disclaimer that many feature dancers choose NOT to list themselves on such a widely publicized web service as BodyMiracle. However, if you want to invest the time to check individual feature dancer websites, you'll often find details for directly booking a 'private session'. I'll also add another personal comment that I have absolutely no problem with girls who consciously choose to augment their incomes via 'private sessions'. However, when viewing the feature industry from the 'outside', it's important to consider the fact that some of the higher earning feature girls are NOT raking in those high earnings as the direct result of feature bookings and club appearances !!!

I e-mailed the OP about 10 paragraphs after she contacted me. By the way OP, I will respond to your follow-up e-mail in the next day or two.

OP, refer back to paragraphs 6, 7, & 8 of my e-mail to you... they will help you to understand why the bigger clubs use agencies. Its not that you must use an agency, but your chances of landing a big club when you are new (with no credits & no reason for the club to trust you) are very slim to none-existent. On the other hand, many clubs don't like being independently approached, & prefer feedback from the agent on an entertainer's performances & personality prior to booking her.

Also, do look at the link Melonie posted - its very important that you understand that many features are doing more than just featuring. While many of the current names in the industry won't be listed on that site, a number do see clients for other types of business. Often they would advertise on Craigslist before it was shut down. I can e-mail you links to agencies offering better known talent w/o prices list, or simply websites where they are discussed. There are very few in the industry who feature just because they love doing it... & most of the ones who do are showgirls with a rare exception here or there. Finally, I will say that once you start traveling you will be amazed at who tries to proposition or pressure you to offer certain services. Sigh....
